I'm French & was young when this song originally performed by French singer Desireles was released becoming one of the major hit of the 80's in almost all Europe. I knew there was a Spanish version sung by Desireless & covered by some Spanish-speaking singers then too.Later, I found out there was an English covered version sung by some singers of whom I forgot the name. But most of time I noticed that non-French speaking singers performed this song in French like here! Wow, it's a respectful attitude. Anyway, bravo pour la performance (as we say in French!).
