We had trucks with camper shells on them. As a kid. It was rad as hell. Back then we had only single cab pick ups, with only one bench seat. The best part, being able to ride in the back without getting rained on.
Yeah, it's got the production values that defy the the current view count. Plus, the general vibe of it was great fun, I've seen footage of Tokyo before but this was fantastic.
I literally just got my copy of Sam's book Running The Light, I'm at work, working my overnight shift and I just started the book. "Monday" already has me wanting more. Can't wait to finish, it's already great
This is one of my favorite podcasts I really look forward to every week! I absolutely love seeing the old pictures of the guests & Ryan. You gotta have Joey Diaz do The Way Back pod!! I need to put a picture and a face to all those stories. Edit: Sam Tallent is naturally hilarious 😂 dude ALWAYS makes me laugh
@RG-tm7uq fair enough. But u get the point. If not...the point is, he isnt as main stream as he should be. Imo. Is that more to your liking...or are u just looking for an argument
My brother was about 6’5” 315 as a highschooler, was a big time weight lifter too. He absolutely dwarfed everyone else on the football field, it looked like a professional nfl player out there with a bunch of kids 🤣
Just watched the honeydew podcast with sam, where he told this incredible story about his moms passing, for like 40 minutes. this episode is 23 minutes long. Why not make it longer, not watching this episode to see a change one day.
I threw up during the middle of Sam’s special because I couldn’t stop laughing. Might be the highest number of jokes per minute I’ve seen in a special all year. His travel vlog is also hysterical. Such an interesting fella
I have croc like shoes but they are adidas and they don’t have the “sport mode” strap but I love them 😂 so comfortable I think they look better than crocs too
15:35 all my girl cousins, were always trying to get me to make out with their friends… I was 12, & made out with a 16 year old girl, who was just as short as my prepubescent ass. Shout out to Cousin Heather, for that one.
Sam Tallent is the quintessential podcast guest. His eloquent high brow speech adds so much flavor to the conversation
It's a crime this is only 23 minutes. Love The Toad.
Shorter with the ad reads 🤯 Sam is creeping into my current top 5 comics. He’s so natural at pods !
Tim Dillon and Dan Soder put me on. "The Amazing Sam Talent" @@MikeyMooks
Tallent is podcast gold let's go
Sam IS Talent
These need to be longer.
When did they start making school buses so long? Back in my day they were short.
Inflation comes for everything
that's a well crafted joke sir
I like yer style... they were blue in NY
Who’s gonna tell him?
Well articulated young man, Sam. Another great episode. Thanks !
I love me some Sammy Tee. Him and Soder are surefire quality podcast guests every time.
We had trucks with camper shells on them. As a kid. It was rad as hell. Back then we had only single cab pick ups, with only one bench seat. The best part, being able to ride in the back without getting rained on.
This podcast is such a great idea, & the guest list has been pretty rad so far! Keep it up!!
His Tokyo Riff series is really awesome. Super funny and great editing
it was edited... Tokyo Style
💯 I was surprised how funny it was lol I definitely wanna visit Tokyo now too
Yeah, it's got the production values that defy the the current view count.
Plus, the general vibe of it was great fun, I've seen footage of Tokyo before but this was fantastic.
It was so so so good, I’d love more of that kind of content , reminded me of Dave attell’s insomniac but in a different way
2:44 made my heart smile
These are so good!! I wish they were a little longer!
Can always count on Ryan to make shitty Thursdays better❤1st thing I do when I get home from work is get settled into The Wayback.
I literally just got my copy of Sam's book Running The Light, I'm at work, working my overnight shift and I just started the book. "Monday" already has me wanting more. Can't wait to finish, it's already great
Sams so funny stoked to see him next week in providence
Something about this episode makes it the best one to date!
Tallent is a Colorado treasure. Love this guy.
Love sam talent, and loving the way back every single ep has been great
Sam is awesome hey definitely kills it on all the pods!
Buy Sam's book, Running the Light
Ryan is great at whatever he does.
This is one of my favorite podcasts I really look forward to every week! I absolutely love seeing the old pictures of the guests & Ryan. You gotta have Joey Diaz do The Way Back pod!! I need to put a picture and a face to all those stories.

Love sam tallent. Very underrated
Very overused/misused phrase. He’s held in high regards by thousands of fans and some of the best comedians performing.
@RG-tm7uq fair enough. But u get the point.
If not...the point is, he isnt as main stream as he should be. Imo.
Is that more to your liking...or are u just looking for an argument
Thanks Ryan, great podcast!
We had a Coach Klein too. He is now the high school principal.
Come on Ryan you gotta make these ep’s longer man! To damn good to be so damn short!
Man, Sam has got to be one of the comics these days that I am most intrigued by. His sense of humor is the fucking best.
Shouts out to Cass for being a true investigative journalist and asking the hard hitting questions at the end
We need a part 2, lov Sam.
This is such a great idea for a podcast.
Sam Tallent is my absolute fave. ❤
Ryan is a talented host❤ Thanks Bud
Seen sickler Friday early show was awesome
Discovering Sam on Dr. Drew is exactly why YMH doing what they're doing is good for comedy.
All hail Lord Tallent
Eh. His special was made for 16 year old boys. Couldn’t finish it.
@@MrBuketman oh that is so nice for you and your obviously superior intellect
@@GillistheIllist Thank you
Two of my favorite people. Always fantastic
Sam talent is so hilarious 😂 his ayg ep killed me
That Tallent kid is going places.
I still believe Sharting term originated in “Along Came Polly”.. at least that was the first time I had heard the term. I was 21 at that time
The fall that phillip seymour hoffman does at the beginning is a classic scene. Lol
First time my family heard it too, I was 14
Don’t know much about Sam or listen but I will be after today loved this pod
My brother was about 6’5” 315 as a highschooler, was a big time weight lifter too. He absolutely dwarfed everyone else on the football field, it looked like a professional nfl player out there with a bunch of kids 🤣

Haven't even watched it yet but already know its gonna be a killer ep!
Yep, the old I'm going to use the movie "IT" as a sad excuse to justify why I'm scared of clowns just like everybody else does LOL
absolute hoot and holler
Going way back to the early days...🎶💨
That broken Femur story reminds me of the King of the Hill ep where coach Saurs would yell out “Take a salt tablet”!
I see Sam, I click immediately
RYANNN please come to VT I have to see you!!
Come on Sickel Cell. Make the the Way Back longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LIKE THIS KINDA PARTY
I see Sickler I click.
Ryan looking fire in that Outerknown by Kelly Slater sweater
👏🏼👏🏼.. Sam the man!
LOOOOOOVE the podcast, but can we get more frames of Princess or a 'Princess Cam'?
Damn 13 hours ago?? How’d I miss this last night 😂
Sickler is higher than a kite flown by an astronaut jumping on a trampoline
Yeah Sam!!!
sam is a fuckin legend. read his book 3 times.
Sam the man
I threw up during the middle of Sam’s special because I couldn’t stop laughing. Might be the highest number of jokes per minute I’ve seen in a special all year. His travel vlog is also hysterical. Such an interesting fella
20:03 I call it GO - mode
The toad and sickle cell? You bet I’m coming up in May
Am I the only one who closes their eyes when Sam talks and hears Chris Pratt?
Where is my happy place? Anywhere Ryan Sickler is.
I loved my dad's old shitty work trucks!
Would love it more if it was longer
I have croc like shoes but they are adidas and they don’t have the “sport mode” strap but I love them 😂 so comfortable I think they look better than crocs too
Dudes yall better tour together and blow this whole world’s mind!! Grant from Iowa city Iowa!! Let me open and do crowd work
23 mins? Ryan we talked about this. Really it was a one sided convo of me commenting longer vids!! lol Tighten up bud we need longer way back pods
Sam is a thespian and a raconteur
Hell yeah Sam T nation
This has to be 3 hours standard!
I appreciated the neice tattoo joke sam
Sam rulez... 🤣🤘🏻🖖🏻✌🏻
What a pair
Hey hey playa, when are you coming back to Denver?
There's a huge pitch ringing in Ryan's mic
This one needed to be to longer!
Sam is so hilarious
Homie that house was haunted AF! 🧐🥃
If you want to make a lady dryer than The Sahara, where some Crocs
Why was this podcast so short?
Putting that back strap down on Crocs is putting it in 4WD
Lol, thats what my wife and I call it, four wheel drive.
these are great just way too short should be at least double the time
What a talent Sam is!
i love this second podcast of yours Ryan but my only complaint is that each episode is to short.
3 inches hard, 6 inches soft. It bloats up like a toad’s throat
Its not good for the toads morale.
This should have been 8 hours long.
What did Sam’s Mom do to get that black eye?
Sheesh get an hour on this dude
The comment I haven't thrown the flag into the ring yet, as in to quit, shows Sam is not going sport mode in the crocks😂
Please get Dan Soder on
Such a short ep😢
These are too short. Just getting into the flow and "Dude, thank you fer doin this.." I think an hour would be the sweet spot.
❤
Hey now. My crocs are decked out. And you should be jealous
15:35 all my girl cousins, were always trying to get me to make out with their friends… I was 12, & made out with a 16 year old girl, who was just as short as my prepubescent ass.
Shout out to Cousin Heather, for that one.
Sam is such a creature lol
