Hi, i was rejected from a company i really want to work for last month. i responded by thanking them for their time. kept it very simple. however they replied with if there are any new openings we will be sure to consider you for future roles. 2 weeks later, got an email that they were forwarding my resume to a different hiring manager for a different team for a spot that just opened up. the same person that interviewed me last month interviewed me last week and this time i made it to round 2, they said they would be calling me within 1-2 weeks and said things like im going to love working there. what are the chances ill land the job this time?

Thanks for reaching out, and visiting the Career Success Channel. Congratulations for making a great impression, which led to a second interview. There are a lot of factors when decisions are made to extend offers, so your chances are good as long as you are still a candidate. It would be great to send another letter (after the second position), advising that you are interested in the role and appreciate the opportunity to interview again. Best of luck to you.

Hii can we reapply to the same profile after some time , after getting the feedback may be the feedback is about communication?

What do you mean by high level?

Hi there. I hope you are well. When I say that the feedback will come to you "high level," I mean "generic." Typically recruiters are taught to give generic, cookie-cutter feedback to candidates that were not selected, like, "the manager decided to move forward with another candidate whose skills more closely aligned with the position." My point is to not be afraid to dig a bit deeper--beyond the generic.

Career Success I never get feedback from companies no matter how polite I ask...

Unfortunately, a lot of people are in the same boat. I would suggest not asking for feedback via email. Ask the interviewer or recruiter if you can get on the phone because you have a question. Then once you are speaking with them, help them understand their feedback will help you to be successful in the future.
