October 28, 2007 - There is a false revival on the rise. It is the rise of the angry watchman who will cast stones at those who have gone astray from the Lord. This false revival consists of ministers who have led people away from the truth through legalism and a misguided prosperity gospel.
They will forbid and command prodigals not to come into the presence of God until you work your way back into His favor through human effort and religion. We must not remove the veil from the bride of Christ. We have a righteousness that can not be taken away from us because Jesus is our veil.

I've been asking the Lord about some of the things observed these past months in churches, and the title of this sermon caught my eye on Wednesday as a seeming direct response. The sermon itself is wholly moreso, even as the message touches on so many other recently relevant meditations.
God bless you all! Surely He is keeping you as near and dear Him through these rather strange times as through all else prior, though ever drawing continually nearer His heart. Such a blessing, just to know Him!

I would like to hear a message that helps with the understanding of the balance between “The Wolf at the Door” and “The Angry Watchman.” I’ve listened to them both many times and could use some help with the balance. They are both so important today.

The angry watchman is an over-correction of the prosperity gospel. Legalistic and forbidding meat etc.
