Thank you for posting this comment,This father is amazing as is his amazing daughter. This is why watch TH-cam to find joy in life tv completely ignores.I will watch this family grow together as long as they let us see it.God Bless the whole family.
she has SO many bass guitars,it boggled my mind. Me being a non-musician,I can't hear the difference, but I know the short necked ones have a shorter range. If anyone cares to enlighten me about this, feel free. Thx. Mr.Aronson has done a wonderful job,he's quite skilled at his hobby. It's quite a gift to Ellen, too. may he (and she) live long and prosper.
I know this is essentially a music channel focused on Ellen and her amazing bass skills... But, you are such a great father, and your camera work is really good! Feels like I'm watching a high production show. Kudos to the pops for holding it down!
Great parenting, Sir, and yes, I strongly agree with you and believe that acts of kindness and love like this are out there and make this world a better place for our children to be. Thank you for sharing this special video, fills my heart with joy and hope - The full-scale Aronson Pbass looks and sounds awesome, and it's almost as tall as Ellen!😁 A big shout-out to Mike Aronson! 💪😎
“But it’s perfect for my size!” 😂 I love the attitude. Looking forward to watching you grow into that bass, Ellen! You’re correct Hovak. People are great and the world needs more people like Mike Aronson! ❤️
Hey dad… your smile giving the bass to your daughter…was priceless….I’ve got a daughter too… and I know how your heart swells every time she smiles And special thanks for Dr. Mike…. For your special gift
As someone who builds woodworking projects and often gifts them to others, and the self satisfaction I feel when doing so, I can only imagine the immense satisfaction Mr. Aronson feels when he watches this. Kudos to you Dr. Mike.
My son and daughter are adults now, so I hope you don't mind me reliving fatherhood through your camera lens. I just discovered this channel today and I'm about to binge watch every video. As much as I enjoyed this moment you captured on video... I can only imagine that later down her journey in life... those years when life experience has shaped us all... she's going to have these memories she can watch again and appreciate even more. She obviously appreciates Mike Aronson making that bass for her in the video, but us old farts know... just KNOW that later in life she's going to reflect on this act Mike's kindness and it's really going to hit her in a different way that makes her look at life and those people in it in an even more positive way than you are teaching her. This will be a gift that keeps on giving. Can you imagine? In 20 years, she makes a video of a beautiful piece she writes all herself and in that video she's playing THIS bass? I can see it. It's going to happen.
Dr. Mike people like are the reason why our children enjoy music and discovering the joy of learning how to play a music instrument. Thank you from all of us.
We all need to find our God given talents and use them for the good and Glorify God. I've learned to serve, help others, learn what I don't know and teach what I do in humility. Such a beautiful bass, great craftsmanship.
You know, I am not a doctor, but I am a budding guitar and bass player, that loves building them... and I admittedly get as much, or even more joy from building them. Recently I have struggled with the notion of, am I dealing in excess, by building guitars/basses, when I don't really need them.... Thanks to Mike, I think I just solved my problem.
Having a full scale size bass built for her to play as she grows up was the right choice, you’re a good father, reminds me of my journey on the bass when I was a kid, this video made me think about my famous keyboardist dad who is now deceased, thank you for sharing it, it hopefully will inspire more fathers to be more active in their children life cycle. And to the doctor Mike, thank you for recognizing that Ellen has a very unique gift for playing bass, and she sings very well, I can’t wait to get her first record! ELLEN YOU ROCK!
Wow… People ARE great. Ellen is so talented and has so much fun. She inspires me. I come from a musically inclined family. And when I saw Ellen I thought “that could be my Everly”. Everly isn’t born yet. May never be. But this, right here, makes me cry such happy tears. Thank you for your content. And thank you, dear Doctor, for feeding a dream ❤️
Wow that is amazing!!! You are a lucky girl, but then, you give so much back to the world with your joy and your playing! Can't wait to hear you play this beautiful bass. Thank you Mike Aronson!
This family is simply amazing and fantastic, these videos bring tears to my eyes every time. Simple put for the love and joy of the music, and never forgetting to still be a child! God bless this family.
Mike, thank you from those of us who play bass...and love music. The smile on Ellen's face and the gratefulness in her father's expressions were priceless, as is your love and generosity, priceless. There is hope in this world. We would do well to follow your lead. Thanks again. I have owned my Gibson Ripper since H.S.... 1974.
What a Beautiful gift Dr. Mike , God Bless you Sir on so many levels .. Miss Ellen is such a heart warming young lady & her Farther is a gift from God ... I think we love this family for many different reason's , let's keep them in our prays because they have a very-very special place in our hearts. I never get tired of watching and listening to your playing, AND your dads support! That part is just remarkable. Clearly, your collective kindness is being returned to you, so enjoy this incredible journey!!!
Beautiful gift Dr. Mike. I can see passion goes into your work and you've extended that passion to give it to an up and coming great musician. You kept the instrument traditional and that shows your respect for Fenders. I always wanted a P bass but I'm more of a guitar player. I think they're the coolest basses. If there were more great fathers we wouldn't have the number of social outcasts and social problems we have today.
What a little angel! Seeing her light up playing that bass just makes me excited to grab my guitar. Mike, what a wonderful thing you have done! Your kind gesture just swept through this community and made all our lives a little better. Thank you!
To have a daughter that shares your musical passion is a wonderful thing. When your daughter is admired by the music world, this becomes a bonus. Well done to both father and daughter for their mutual respect. Now, throw in an admirer who makes a gift which is both unique and priceless shows me that the world isn't such a bad place after all. Well done to Dr Mike Aronson for choosing to create such a fabulous gift. There is no doubt that Ellen is talented. Now with her new guitar she is equipped to take on the world.
I like how you tell a story with your videos. That is an element that many people are lacking in their youtube videos. Of course it helps that you have an interesting story to tell with Ellen's bass journey.
Mr. Mike Aronson you are a good man. Ellen my dear, you have a wonderful gift of talent, and I look forward to seeing you progress into the master musician you will surely become. Just remember to always stay true to yourself, and stay true to your music. 😎
I absolutely love this cute little sweetheart. Her smile and laugh always makes my day. I want to say thanks to her father for giving her the opportunity to be the best she can be. Very few kids have this opportunity. Ellen is so lucky.
Over time she will truly understand how amazing this gift is. That is such a beautifully rich toned P-bass that is one-of-a-kind. Well done Mike...well done indeed!!!

Only the Devine Love can create the Peace, Joy, Hope, Faith, Goodness, Patience etc.etc. Ellen reflects all these Devine attributes while learning the most difficult passages of her repertoire. What we are witnessing isn't earthly, This is Devine intervention.
The dynamic of father/ daughter and mentor/ student along with crazy cute Ellen and accomplished awesome Dad ….. is irresistible!! Ellen, keep on smiling and making us smile ….Thx
What a remarkable man Dr. Mike is. It's not about the money with people like Dr. Mike, it took lots of time and labor to make such a fine instrument. Dr. Mike put all that and love in helping to inspire a young Musician. Hats off to you sir, and i do not do that often, Like the Cannel Ellen, got a special dad :); you play very well, keep it up, you have a great future in Music. Hello Ellen and family. I recently discovered you on TH-cam, and have become amazed at your talent and your father's skill in teaching. You two are amazing, thank you for the time you put in to your art.
Man, I can't wait to do this kind of stuff with my son. The way he watches and grabs at the guitar when I play in front of him gets me so damn giddy. Just a few more years!
When I worked as a personal assistant a few years back I helped produce for a man with cerebral palsy and a passion for DJing. We got government funded and started what was presumably the worlds first nightclub that was inclusive of all people regardless of handicap. It recieved quite a bit of media attention in my homecountry at the time. When the funding was pulled about a year later a doctor called one day and funded the club for another year out of his own pocket. People are indeed good, I will always try to remember that!
You channel always makes my day in this world of negativity! Yes people are good, society has a tendency to wallow in the negativity and put a magnifier onto it! But truth be told! We should concentrate on the good! regards from France.

If there is a more adorable, more delightful, amazing little girl in this world, I haven't seen her yet. I've been driving a school bus for 16 years and have interacted with hundreds and hundreds of children, and I can tell you for certain that this a very special child. God has blessed this world with Ellen.
Oh my God! Our sweerheart Ellen is 9 here! Thank you, doctor, you are a Great person, a multi- talented man, thank you!
