The Enchroma glasses were invented by accident by someone trying to make lenses for surgeons using lasers. By coincidence his friend was colour blind and when he tried them on he noticed some orange road cones that he couldn't see before. I really like that story!

He really didn’t know how to describe some of the colors he was seeing. He’d just say to us “what is that?” Also another really cool moment happened a few days later when he saw a McDonalds for the first time😉 he was like wow McDonalds really has a lot going on! 😢 I thought of how many times we’ve been to McDonalds even as a child and he’s never seen it like we’ve seen it till now and he’s 24! Thank you Jesus!

It reminds me of The Wizard of OZ when Dorothy opened the door to Munchkin Land... Very moving. I thank God for the technology that makes this possible. I am overjoyed beyond words. I myself can't see certain shades of brown. I am very lucky. It wasn't bad enough to keep me out of the service. I have often wondered myself if I have been missing out on something. Maybe some different colored people might look different to me. Even with my slight impairment it sounds very exciting.
For years my father thought he was red/green colorblind because both his uncles were severely colorblind, but it just turned out that his cataracts were interfering with his eye's cones. He had the cataracts removed and it cleared his sight up. For shits and giggles I took the Enchroma's Color Blind Test tonight and I scored a perfect Normal Vision. I can't imagine being even slightly color blind. But I'm glad that science has finally found a fix for mild color deficient people. I also understand that they are able to fix a certain kind of deficiency with red tinted contact lenses.

Some colors he has never seen and didn’t know how to describe. The more her wore them the more he saw. And no colorblind people only see in black and white. The more sunshine there is the more you can see and it was cloudy.
Beg to differ on 'no colorblind people only see in black and white' because my dad only sees in grayscale (achromatopsia) and so did my high school guidance counselor, Mr. Mills.

I would like to see someone who is going to get their glasses with a shocking surprise . Someone bragging about their new awesome glasses and telling the person who they are really for to try theses new awesome glasses they just bought . Then when they try them on you get to see what they think about them . Just build up the hype to the point where they hate the glasses until the moment when they try them on . That way there is a true wtf moment .
There is a pamphlet that is included which says read first and it strongly suggest that you not flip the glasses back and forth so that your eyes and your brain adjust quickly. it's unfortunate that it seems everyone else read that pamphlet but you

there are different types of colorblindness. The majority are red/green colorblind, which is usually those who try the enchroma glasses. That means their eyes are weak to seeing reds and greens. They usually can see blue, yellow, white, black and some basic green and red, but that's it. Reds and oranges are usually faded red/brown. Greens are usually one type of green or yellow. They don't know much about purples or oranges since you need red to see those colors. Enchroma glass's filter the red/green lightwaves so they are easier to see by people with damaged color receptors, just like a prism can filter light into a rainbow that lets you see the colors of the light ray.

So mant people resort to this when posting. Just show the whole picture! Surely I can't be the only one frustrated by this. Open it up, and show the whole widescreen, as shot. Let it breath! I'm thinking maybe certain iphones shoot in a narrow center only. I've never owned an iphone, believe it or not, so I don't know, but that may explain it. Anyway, these center sliver videos drive me crazy, because I want to see full screen. --Whatever.
No, it gets bigger, but it can't expand to wide screen. What I've picked up on since I posted 2 months ago, is that, apparently, what causes so many i-phone videos to look this way, is that the person with the camera is holding it vertically, -hence the narrow-in-the-middle picture. If people would just hold their phone/camera horizontally instead, they would get a full widescreen picture. It's actually known as "vertical video syndrome". At least that's what I read. I don't own an i-phone. So, hold your camera phone horizontally when taking a movie, folks.@@dianemoonstone4715

I also didn't realize that cataracts affect the way people see color. I always saw the full spectrum of colors but with the cataract everything started to look dull and dingy and I never even realized it until I had the surgery. It was like taking off dirty sunglasses. The biggest difference for me was the color white! I couldn't wait to get home to see my bedsheets. They were gleaming! I was getting ready to buy new ones because I thought they had gotten old and dingy.

On the bottom right side, click on the option for Full Screen. It then expands.

A lot of people can't wear contacts but the ones that can, that is a great idea.
