Hello MR. Tasos My M278 keep getting P008A code once a week. OBDII is saying P008A Pressure Fuel System Pressure - Too Low (Replaced Fuel pump under the back seat, still getting same code) Fuel lines are clear, not kinked neither. The only thing i have not changed is these high pressure pump. Can it be related to these High Pressure Pump ?

Tasos, i did a resonator delete with straight pipes yesterday and pushed my 15 cls63s to 130mph a few times last night. All of the sudden the car looses its power and sounds weird under acceleration/throttle and i get a check engine light on for a misfire on cylinders 1,3,5,7. Cleared the codes and the problem seems to have gone away. Do you have any ideas why this could be happening or what i can do to prevent or fix this from happening again? Car only has 35,200 miles on the clock. Thanks
Will the fuel pump cause a ticking sound similar to a lifter if it's going bad? I used a mechanic stethoscope to locate a passenger side ticking noise and its the loudest when touching the passenger side pumps fuel lines. I should probably upgrade either way since I have BlackBoost 950+ turbos going in but I was to making sure everything else is working properly first.

Michel Dionne happy new year to you too sir, you can read the high or low fuel pressure through obd, please don't try to read the high fuel pressure with external gauge because the pressures can reach 200+ bar ( 2900 psi ). Thank you!
Hello, I have 2012 CLS 550 with M278 4.7 biturbo engine 195000 km, it's tuned, cat delete, x pipe. I had misfires on cylinders 1, 5, 6 ,7 changed coils on those cylinders, also new spark plugs for all the cylinders (I bought AMG GTS spark plugs from official mercedes). those cylinders still have misfire, do not know what to do... BTW I have Launch obd and I can check everything myself, but don't know what should be correct values for different pressures and so on, what to check? (my car also has a problem with a vacuum pump which is moving turbo wastegates while idling.)

Hi Tasos, I recently replaced both high pressure fuels pumps on my M157 car was going into limp mode under boost the pumps fixed the issue. The car is tuned with 110k Miles should I replace the low pressure pumps too to be safe?
chitownballa140 hi, if the terminals on the plug of the low pressure pump aren't burnt ( black ) change only the fuel filter ( the left unit inside of the fuel tank is the filter ) thanks

I took it to shop but no check engine light. They told me drive it until light stay on. My car was tuned before with ams before. 55,000 miles. I'm new owner at 75,000 no tune. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from you

Hello Tasos For about a year i'm dealing with a problem to my S63 Amg , M157 Engine , and looks like nobody in USA can figure it out what is going on with my car. I do have a rough idle , and is happening only when i put the car in drive or reverse ,the RPM are going up and down 200 or 300 rpm over the idle . What should i do ? Thank you

Your vacuum pump and PCV might be failing, allowing oil into the injectors
I have misfire only on cylinder 5. Replaced coil and spark plug but nothing changed. Engine m157
Cylinder 5 could be inproper valve seating I have read some were on amg meister comments from amg tech

@@dinoc8786 I had/have the same issue. More than likely it’s bad spark plugs or maybe coil pack. I’m changing my spark plugs in the next few days.
Tasos I have m157 getting code p0017 I’ve gotten new camshaft sensors only symptom is car cranks a little longer to start what could it be?

so if the car is running well how would you know if there is a problem, my m157 now has 100km, or 60000 miles...so far seems fine
