I watched KUWTK the entire time I was in labor INCLUDING when I was pushing. It was on the hospital tv and honestly having it on really helped.
I don't recommend your diffuser, you might get instantly sick of a scent and can't get it out of the air, bring cotton balls to put the oils on.

The smell of aromatherapy oils made me instantly nauseous in labour sadly 🤢
I hope you can do the unmedicated birth that you want! Ive had two so far. Biggest tip is to labor at home for as long as you can. For both my births, I got to the hospital when I was 7-8 cm dilated already. Also, when you start thinking that you should just get the epidural and that you can’t do it anymore, that’s the time when its almost over and you will be pushing soon! At least that’s how it’s been in my experience. Also, second baby came way faster than the first, only three hours of labor altogether.
I love to see your confidence when it comes to your labor plan.
I haven’t had kids of my own but watching your videos already give me baby fever.

I gotta tip I just learned! Coconut oil or Vaseline to use to get that first poop black tar sticky meconium the baby has. It helps get it off way easier than wipes. Use before and after on baby buns. 👍🏼

I appreciate that you mentioned the difference between the Hakka vs lady bug. I assumed the only difference was the shape but that’s so not true.
My lactation consultant explained that the Hakka is a low suction breast pump (mimicking the baby more than an electric pump) and like you said the lady bug is just catching it without suction.

I had a completely unmedicated labor/birth in our hospital, no doula. But I labored at home almost the whole time, definitely my biggest tip! No matter how your experience went I pray it went safely ❤️❤️❤️

i took oils for my 2nd labor as well. My husband massaged my feet with VALOR blend by YoungLiving and no joke, 30 min to 1 hour later baby was born. Theres a reason they call Valor "Chiropractor in a bottle" ;)

I’ve been using these with my first baby. They are very convenient. Just pop them inside you’re bra during nursing or in between. The suction is light but enough. They came in very handy while I was nursing outside etc. baby can’t kick these off and you are a little more mobile than with the original Haakaa. Hope I could help you a little bit ♥️ and congratulations on your third baby 🥰

Have you heard about using combs for reducing contraction pain? I saw it on Sarah Therese's most recent birth video. She did a natural home birth. I plan to try this when giving birth with #2

You or someone else here might consider a small electric heating pad as well. It might feel nice on your lower back and for after birth contractions. I turned it on and placed it on my belly right before feeding the baby which is when I felt they are the worst. We also used it to warm up the little Hospital bassinet thing before placing the baby in there, but of course remove the heating pad before putting the baby in

🍍- AFTER contractions started... I think that help me with a faster birth. First time birth 7hrs no epidural, at hospital. I came to the hospital 7 cm dilated

I gave birth at the hospital with midwives the last two times. Best balance I could have done for me. I also had a dr. on my team which was handy when I tore with my first and hemorrhaged. He was able to stitch me up and assist with getting the bleeding under control. It's great to be able to work with someone who believes in the birth process but also knows when help is needed.
Certified Nursing Midwifes can do all of that too.

I watched Grey's Anatomy on my laptop while laboring! It did really help distract me. I think next time I'll do a funnier show because I think that would help even more :)

Don’t think you’ll need anything of that except for your clothes her clothes bath room stuff. With my second I went in 1 hour before I gave birth. 😋 everyone says they want to be unmediated but then the day of birth something goes wrong and they get epidural.
Yeah if I end up giving birth one hour after I go in then for sure I won’t need it, but there’s no way to know, I could end up laboring another 12 hours 😅 you just never knowwwwww
