I remember being i a band in the early 90s , ad being the drummer was tasked with covering Antmusic ... I could never get it quite right .. Then one day about 10+ yrs later i saw a video of them playing it live and realized they had 2 drummers ... so if you ever read this ... Screw you Barry for always hassling me about it ...
Saw him back in the early 80’s at the age of fourteen at the Masonic Temple in Toledo. I was such a starstruck nerd in my black Members Only jacket covered with at least forty five Adam Ant pins. I still remember rushing to the phone(the kind with a cord attached!) to call my best friend and fellow Ant fan whenever one of his videos popped up on the MTV. I spent most of my freshman year in high school sitting in front of the tube waiting for a glimpse of this guy. I was heartbroken to not have caught the sweaty leg warmer (remember those 80’s kids?) that he generously flung into the crowd at the show but it was my first concert and an unforgettable experience. This brings back memories! Thanks for posting!
I actually made a living impersonating him way way back in the day when lip sincing was still a fresh artform. Had all his every move, mannerisms, & facial expressions, and looks down to the T. I even managed to spin & piviot it to a career in the peforming arts , then theatre , writing, producing & directing.
Brilliant. Adam is looking so well. 👍🙏🏼❤️
