They were probably both reminded of it as well. Maybe this marks a new beginning for Larias. I'm certainly happy to see my favourite boys together again!

we never get any deep and lovely dialogue about how lari and Elias want to be together but people jump up for joy because Lari and Elias kiss (after a year and a bit so over that- cheating is cheating to me ) whether it is Lari or Elias enough...you are both going around in circles with your partners and each other!

It's kind of amusing how it's always the same people who come here to complain about "how bad" everything is. I get the criticism once in a while but when it's all you have to give, why do you bother even watching? Your complaining is a total turn off for people who like the story. I personally think that this Marianna storyline is possibly the best this show has had in a while (and it's liked in Finland) and I'm happy that we get to have Lari and Elias as a part of it.
It's not "all we have to give". It is objective criticism of poor puerile writing that needs to be noted. We're watching for the moment when we get over this hump and something better emerges
Everyone feels different about who should be with who. Me personally I love Lari and Elias together the chemistry between them has been there from day one. You don't see the chemistry between Lari and Kallie or Elias and Maski. The room lights up when they look at each other. You can see it in their eyes.

Can someone please remind me exactly what is keeping them apart at this point? They are clearly in love with each other and both of their relationships to other people have gone to hell anyway. I think "it's ... ridiculous" means it's not what you want to see? You'll have to be patient. It's actually not ridiculous (imo). They have a messy history to overcome (trust issues), and they're both in messy or ambiguous relationships. Elias & Miska are on hold, which apparently means Elias is available without cheating. Lari is at a low point with Kalle, but wants to sort it out when Kalle returns. So he's not supposed to be available. Lari thinks it would be wrong to take what Elias seems to be offering, and Elias knows this.
Sure, I get that they have a messy history. I guess I was just disappointed they are going back to their old ways - Especially because I thought Lari has grown a lot as a character. I'd prefer it if they'd act more responsible at this point and give their relationship another chance (because they both have changed there's at least a chance it won't go as bad as last time) or focus solemly on fixing their respective relationships. But maybe that'll happen later on.

Elias is right, Marianna's mind is quite imaginative. I used to have a friend and she was mentally ill and would believe whatever she made up in her head and believes that's what really happen, when in reality is was not like that at all. She was a very dear friend to me but it got to the point where I couldn't handle arguing with her about pointless things that didn't happen or aren't even my fault. I hope Lari starts looking at Marianna as an 'enemy' rather than family because it might hurt him.

Of course, it's never going to go further than kissing with most of their clothes on. It's an early evening soap, after all. If you don't like the Marianna story, think of it as the price you have to pay to get to the good stuff.
That is really unfair. We've seen all the gays in pre and post coitus with little to no clothes on. Partial nudity is not a big deal to this show and it's disingenuous to pretend otherwise. I mean, they frequently hold scenes in the sauna for no apparent reason.

The beauty of the soap is that they just can't be away from each other, because they're meant to be. But that happens in real life, too, that people who are in a relationship fall for and want to be with someone else. I don't think they are exactly lying to their partners at the moment, as they are in no contact with them and everyone knows the things between them are quite chilly, on a break. There are two things I hope: 1) They don't deny this i.e. not lie to themselves and each other. 2) They don't try to hide it, i.e. not lie to anyone else, but tell Miska and Kalle and the whole world, and be happy and let others, in time, be happy as well. [Edit to add:] To me, it seems they are discovering right now and if they continue hiding it from anyone, including themselves, then they are cheating.

Yes! Two teen-age gay guys who are still in love with each other sitting on Elias' bed and not touching. And the looks they give each other before and after that! The sexual tension with mutual love behind it is exciting, endearing, & perfect.

Just being together reawakens their mutual love. That part is so natural & heartwarming!

I like this soap and the job Miss Fin does.I miss Kalle but I'm guessing most people want to see Larias no matter what the storyline is.I can't believe that the Bold and Beautiful from America is the most popular soap in the world because it sucks.
