AWESOME video about this INCREDIBLE and very special Uebelmannia Daz , and STUNNING videography and beautiful quality video and info all about this stunning Brazilian Cactus beauty, thanks so much Daz for sharing with us, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic evening and week ahead XXXX
Thank you so much as always, Lyn 😊 I came across your article on your website while researching info for this one 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting as always. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself to you & Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Cheers mate 😊 Yeah I think that's down to the fungal issues they can be prone to. A lot of the information online says this cactus likes constant high humidity, which isn't true, and I think that contributes to issues occurring. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a lovely evening and rest of the weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
A cool looking plant from the same region. Unfortunately I don't have one in the collection ☹️ I only really make videos and these spotlight ones on plants I have. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Beautiful plant Daz!!! I love these!!! My old one is grafted for your reasons mentioned. Mine seems a bit backwards. It flowers around December, to January. Mine has also been grafted on the stocks mentioned. Both. It was first about the size of a ping pong ball on a small myrtillocactus stock. It out grew It and used it up. Then I used an Echinopsis as a stock. Some years later, it did the same to it! So I grafted it to stenocereus prunosus and it has been there ever since. It looks a bit ridiculous, but this stock really holds up. It's been there 30 years now! You have a very nice plant there!! Especially not grafted!!! I don't trust detracting it cause it does get a bit cool in the greenhouse during the winter. And I know I can keep it alive on graft. Thanks for sharing your great plant Daz!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to the UK 🇬🇧 and the Philippines 🇵🇭 have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌻🍀🌷🌾🌴💐🌱🌹🌿🌸🌳🏜😃👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 I'd love to see an update on your one and how it's doing. The one I have was a degraft, and still had a small piece attached to it when I got it, like a lollypop lol. I think it has consumed it now and is on its own roots but I've not repotted it since I got it to check. Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you & Deb 🌵☀️🌺🌺🌸🏜
yeahh nice quality video Daz 🤘lots of information about this little one, I'm going to see what I can do to keep him alive, I'm going to try, its a baby with 3 cm high lolol 😖 😁 Thanks for this amazing video. Nice evening for you and Edith 🤙🌵
Thank you 😊 They're really not too difficult. Just go easy on the watering, especially if they're on their own roots, and don't expose them to temperatures below 10c. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend. Have a lovely day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Thank you so much, Ziggy 😊 They're not too difficult to look after. I pretty much treat mine as any other cactus that lives indoors. Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend. Have a wonderful Sunday from Edith & myself to you & Jackie 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Love these kind of videos, Species spotlight is a great idea, that we dont really see in Cactus Videos. You should make a top 10 easy cactus to grow like this video, it would help alot of new people that getting into Cactus.😊
Thank you 😊 I've made a top 5 beginner cactus video in the past, but I'm planning on making another and then probably an intermediate and advanced top 5. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
@@Cactimania sounds amazing! Im really getting into gymnocalycium now as beginner plants i really enjoy the ease and alot of flowers all the time. Yesterday i bought 2 melocactus matanzanus, but i heard they can be hard to grow? 😰 I just coudnt leave them, they was full of seed pods as well. But growing Cactus from seeds seem to be kinda tricky....
The only thing about Melocactus is like Uebelmannia they are more of a subtropical cactus and don't like temperatures below 10c. Definitely ones that should be overwintered indoors 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
That's an amazing Uebelmannia Pectinifera succulent! Love the wonderful narration about this plant! Have a great afternoon and evening Daz and Edith. Have a wonderful new week!
One of my top favourite cacti, Sweetheart! 😍 Very nice specimen you have there. Can’t wait for it to bloom. Awesome info as well. I thought it was more of a “tropical” cacti. Just made sense now. Thank you. Enjoyed watching with you, as always. ❤️🌸🌼🌺💚
Thank you so much my love 🥰 One of my favourites, too. This one could be several years away from flowering yet, though. Yeah it's not a true tropical cactus because of the limited area where they grow. I'd say it's more subtropical, but I still wouldn't mist or steam them during the summer like some websites suggest, it's not an airplant lol. Enjoyed watching with you as always, babe. Thank you for all your love, support and encouragement always ❤️🌵☀️😘🌸🏜
Great photography. What a stunning specimen.
Thank you so much as always, Justin 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a lovely day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
