2 couple picnic & metal detecting up in Vermont. While detecting I reached a point where the hairs stood right on end. Stepped back nothing, step ahead same chills. I called the others over..same effects. one of the girls got totally creeped out which ended the picnic there and then. later we found out that they had done and archeological dig there and found red ocher indian burials. I guess they missed one.
Crap hunt! I've had a few HUNDRED myself but I like your sense of humor and attitude! I will be doing alot more "exploring Alabama" from now on. New sub here!
Most people in the South didn't have any money. Even if they had a 100 acre farm times were still very hard. To find a gold coin, in reality, would be like winning the lottery.
miners tag they put on the hook when they go down under ground and they put them on the other hook board when they come up so in case of a cave in they know who is under ground and who aint is what that looked like i got a couple and was told that is what they were
.......I just found a Barber quarter ! Find old Co maps and find out where old houses once stood ! I hardly ever find any coin on property that the house is still there . People who metal detect always go to standing structures . Good luck !
They poison ivy on the tree is a bad thing to burn in a camp fire . I learned the hard way ended up in the er swelling everywhere even my throat was swelling. Had a nice campfire though lol.
that looks like a coal mine tag that the worker would get to let the company know if the person was at work are not for safty. coal mine tags would have safty first on them and had a number and the worker had a number in the offfice with his name ,this was incase of a cave in are explosen they would know who was there and who wasnt and who was missing.
I recently got my first dector it's a whites from the 60s it was a garage sale buy for 20.00 I am planning on buying newer equipment . I am curious about your equipment Even ur shovel As well as ur wand.
not sure what I can do. I"m just some guy making youtube videos. I've never taught before, like school stuff I mean, but you can get on google and look at numbers and the order of them.
I was sick. Wasted is the word you were searching for. Not waisted. Now we're even, you wasted mine. Oh wait, I should consider this a teaching opportunity and you, a learning. You're welcome.
Where did you get that shovel?
What did you get chills about?
watch it again and listen. I see where you skipped to the finds each time, try again and understand you will
@@ExploringAlabama I watched it again, and I'm sorry but I still don't understand what you got chills about?

Always exciting enough. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Every dig teaches me something-regardless of what the ground gives up.

Sooo...what gave you chills???
i was sick
I have a couple of numbered brass tags which i know were for keys.
People use to bury their money in snuff cans like silver dollars. Around these old houses you might find some.

What make and model, shovel your using ?
The chills aren't due to CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease) caused from eating moldy corn are they?
Look up the history of the house and who it belongs to.
Did it get cold out
When did you have chills?
When they were multiplying and losing control
And the power they're supplying...
Its electrifying.....😉
@@kristennoelle9447 Better shape up cause I need a detector, To help me find some cool stuff.

Probably a miners tag. Sometimes had # and said safety first.

The pull tab was in such good shape it gave him the chills, either that or he had the chills because he said he wasn't feeling to good! LOL

The coal mine tags are a wonderful idea! I did not get any chills tho.
That's some pretty rich soil for Alabama. I get red clay mixed with some sand like 0% rich soil.

Thks exploring for a nice video. Hard work on your part but very interesting. Thks again HH Dennis
"Nuthin like a big hunk a lead" ha!
when we go out we find a lot of junk, so we feel like we are cleaning up mother earth, which is not a bad thing :)
Nameplate for a dog collar possibly.
Why would you go over a place you already checked a couple years before.
Since I started detecting on the beach I hate detecting on land because digging is harder lol
it is easy and soooo clean
Does the sand keep your shovels sharp? Like an emery board on fingernails...
feel gooder soon
Numbers you are saying don't make sense to me
not sure what I can do. I"m just some guy making youtube videos. I've never taught before, like school stuff I mean, but you can get on google and look at numbers and the order of them.

PLUMBERS BACK THEN USED LEAD
Hi. i.
cotton bale tag
How about what was your girlfriend/boyfriends name in 19....
I like it, thanks
Why are you digging all that junk. Doesn’t your detector discriminate? Also in someone’s yard, cleaner replaceable plugs
pull tabs have same number as gold, heavily oxidized iron sounds like silver, none are precise
also this is family property. get on board Ron
Well maybe after you really get to know your detector, you’ll see what I mean. The h S.D. it’s not Ron
Dude, was entertaining but what gave you chills again? You just waisted my time! Seem like a nice guy but why post this?
