More like this please. It was helpful to see how you put things together with a budget.😊
Will do!!!! Thank u!
Always enjoy your designer eye, your organized videos and your careful budget. You didn't mention a drape, but we have faux silk dupioni blackout panels (Evelina by Sun Zero), also from Target, washable, with a back tab we used with clip rings on a decorator rod. Panels are 50" wide and from 63" to 108" long. We have washed ours numerous times and they still look great 10 years on. The pearl shade, which is a slightly grayed white, would look wonderful in your traditional space.
Those sound ideal! Thank u!
LOVE that you categorized this video/vignette as “old money.” I’ve just learned about this aesthetic and am working hard to achieve it with what I already have….and a few sourced items. Now…going to watch!
Sounds great! I’m sure you can pull it off!!
This hit home for me!!! Traditional!! You knocked the ball out the park(as always) I love it!!! This space reminds me,of my living space, change pillows/faux flowers seasonally.I’m using the powder pink for the summer.Thank you so much. Blessings!!!!
Hi Lola! I’m so glad you agree and I’ll bet the pale pink will be lovely! Blessings to you, too!!!!

I love Traditional & Navy; nicely done❣️
HiBarb! Thank u!!
Inexpensive, true, but you get the comfort and fabrics you pay for!
I do think nice for setting up your childs first apartment to get them on their way 😊 I do have the trophy vase (which I had a friend drill hole in the bottom of) for my deck. Yes, I added faux flowers to that, among my living plants. Placed it between 2 chairs.
You did select items for a very nice look, on the otherhand,Suzanne! Thank you.
Question. Which Interior Design Company do you work for? Id like to look it up!! ❤ Thanks.
Love it !!!😊
Yay! Thank u!
I will say this-if you are on a very strict limited budget, this will get you a very nice and pleasing looking room. It's what we did when we first married. Be prepared, though, the upholstery pieces won't last very long if they are used on a daily basis. Start saving for quality upholstery furniture, either custom made or furniture you will see atEthan Allen or upscale furniture stores. It's well worth the investment because two sofa purchases later, you will have spent the same amount of money. A good trick is to shop at furniture consignment stores and look for quality pieces at extremely good prices. Then you can have it reupholstered with high quality cushions for a fractionof the cost. Anyway, this is a great looking room for a very good price.
Yes this is great for someone on a budget or who has a room that needs updating and wouldn’t have been touched otherwise!
I just did that wallpaper in four frames trick in my powder room. I bought four different wallpapers for each season and recently just did a rabbit/deer one for Easter/spring. I thought I was the genius, lol! Coincidentally I have my eye on a peacock fabric ...
Since you've done traditional and mid century modern, I'm hoping transitional or cottage core might be next? Aw, no question of the week this week?
I hope to include as many styles as possible.
@@happiestplace Thank you. Can you do a video on DIY window treatments on a budget? I have custom valances from 15 years ago that need updating but it's not in my budget right now. I was thinking I could overlay them with something else, such as a ready made blackout curtain or even was thinking of using a shower curtain in a simple linen fabric for the ones in my bathroom. I am desperate to change but don't know where to begin! I think many people are lost and could use your help when it comes to choosing window treatments!
Are you located in Georgia by chance? Ha You have such an incredible way of simplifying things for us!!
Hi! I’m not, but I do pass through it while traveling up and down the coast several time each year. If it’s the athome visit in Pooler that made you wonder that…we were just passing through. Thank u for the comment and the kind compliment!
Did I miss the links? I only found the floral one.
Hi! They are there in another format which hopefully ends up in the description box
.. I think that there NEEDS to be a Floor Lamp, by the Recliner Chairs.. with a 3- way , ...for varying rhe lighting ... I like to Read ,using a recliber.. but without a Lamp... you can not read, or even have " Ambient Lighting " for that area.
Ive heatd not good Reviews about the Sofa, hopefully Serta took those and made it a better Sofa... and, 72 " to 74 " is really a " More Perfecr Size", especially for smaller Rooms...or allowing better placementof Furniture. .... 78 " is not much difference from an
80 " Sofa.
Yes mentioned the floor lamp in the video as a good option for more lighting…near one of the chairs…could mix it up by moving a table lamp but I liked them o either side of the sofa
Where would you wash a 9x12 carpet????
An LG washer…they are huge …the rug is thin…u fold it and then put it in, or laundry room wash tub and dry it over the fence or flat on the deck or patio on a sunny dry day…or dry in an LG dryer. Or don’t wash it most people don’t and just vacuum & spot clean.
