    So, if the bit sequence on SDA line is something like 110101, should it be interpreted as 001010 by microcontroller or FPGA, since the line is active low?

    I'm trying to understand I2C, but this is going right over my head.... a lot of information and it's kinda hard for me to follow and understand.

    Y is I2C so slow ?

    • @MicrochipTechnology
      @MicrochipTechnology  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! While I2C is widely used and has many advantages, it can be slower than other communication protocols like SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) and UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter) for several reasons: Clock Speed, Complexity, Addressing, Arbitration, etc. Despite its lower speed than other communication protocols, I2C remains a popular choice for many applications due to its simplicity, low power consumption, and compatibility with various devices. Hope this helps!
