    I believe they nailed all the things on this new trim. Couple of options I hope they add before production:
    1. Winch
    2. Larger gas tank on 6 foot bed models at least.
    3. Camera access via app.
    4. Factory approved/designed loading ramp for bikes or lawn mowers.
    5. Keep sun roof
    6. Wireless phone screen mirroring
    7. Backseat air vents
    And there you go!. Starting price now only $79,995 here in Puerto Rico. 😅

      Backseat air vents will be really nice.

    • @davidcallen5847
      @davidcallen5847 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TRDJon Is the snorkel optional or is it standard/required? Not everybody wants/needs it. Agreed on the back seat air vents! It's designed for overlanding so why wouldn't the backseat occupants want air? Makes zero sense-and there's already a cutout in the back of the center console for air vents! Also, how about a washer on the front camera like the competition has.

      I hope they take styling cues, but my dream is they continue to build the 4Runner's in Japan. There are quality differences between the US and Japanese built Toyota's that make me appreciate the Japanese built ones. My biggest concern though, is that they will not offer a flat floor and power rear hatch window. I have 4 dogs, and that is a must for me. If they kill those features, I'll probably trade in my 2015 for a 2023 and live with it for the rest of my life.

    Great job on the video Jon! Thanks for making it. How exciting that you got invited to this reveal. So stoked for you. Love that new color and am curious about the snorkel. Are those extra 2 shark fins for wiring in 2-way radios? I can't wait to see a full first-drive video on this one. I really was hoping for something that would shut down the ranger raptor.

      Back in the first gen Tacoma. I don't even think the Second gen had a manual T-case

    I thought for sure that Toyota would have put an A-Pillar driver side grab handle on. But anyway that is one awesome S.O.B.

    It looks great but my god, why can’t they give the tacoma some good tires?! The wildpeaks like the tundra has would’ve been perfect. Also why go to an 18” wheel?? 17” is like the go to Offroad wheel.

    Looks great to me. No front locker, though, means Chevy and Jeep still have a one-up on Toyota in that dept. Disappointing in that aspect alone.

      True. Maybe they will add it for their mid refresh. One can hope.
