Woohoo!! Cheers to adventure! Yeah it was so hard to leave. We had actually planned to stay another day or two on the lake but the weather pushed us out. We were a little freaked out by the possible tornados and 2 inch hail! It worked out great for the next video though because we always love coming home to Florida! We're so happy you enjoyed it Victory! We actually had a bit of a cold at the time and really needed to recharge. Spending some relaxing time on the water was so nice and peaceful. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. It's well worth it! 😊

Something I would find helpful would be to include a quick shot of a map showing where exactly the adventure is happening - especially in the Florida videos but others too - just a thought!
Lakes are so nice to kick back and relax! Especially with a paddleboard. Good idea on the map Freeman! We had done that on previous videos but totally forgot! We'll have to do that on ones coming up. Thanks for the reminder! We hope you're doing well! 😊
We camp at Harrison Bay State Park 3 weeks every year. One week in May one in July and again in late October. It is very nice there.
That's so fun! What a great way to enjoy the different seasons in Tennessee! It was a bit cold when we recorded this video, but we've since been back in June/July and it was lovely getting in the water! ❤️

Thank you so much I bodybuild training Monday through Friday Saturday and Sunday are recovery days so the wife she drives when we try to go somewhere nowhere in particular just caution to the wind for both of you have given us some great ideas when we take a vacation the spirit you guys have shines through your videos it's honest and real it's a perfect formula keep doing what you do
You are correct by saying that you need only pull over of of highway 58 in Harrison Tn. There is also a boat dock on the other side of the road that you can park overnight fishing.
Then there is the actual park. Harrison Bay State Park. It has advanced RV parking as well as tent sights. There is a bathroom, you might want to take you EBike, with showers and running water. There is also a pool,i personally never swam in it so I don't know if you can swim there.
The spots for camping on the water side is nice but sometimes they have a no fire policy unless it is in a container. You will have to bring your own wood if you plan on having a fire.
Thanks so much for sharing your helpful tips about how to enjoy this beautiful area! It continues to surprise us, too. We went back to Harrison Bay this year and enjoyed some summer paddling, having a picnic along the water, and rode our new bikes around. We liked the summer even better, and I guess everyone else did too, because it was definitely busier than our first trip in the cooler temps. Beautiful park! 🥰

Thanks for the question! ❤️ We wish we could travel around full time but right now we just take extended trips in the van. But we love spending time in it and traveling! It makes it so much easier to get to places and enjoy more than just car camping. Definitely have full time van life as a goal in the future though! 🚐😁

No we're not in the Gainesville area now but we're actually not that far away! We're thinking of going back up there just to enjoy the same places we just went like the Alachua Trail. Hey there! Really appreciate the love and glad you've joined our channel! Ooh, it's always exciting (and sometimes stressful) to plan a vacation isn't it? We always try to pack it all in. Have you gone hiking in the Smoky Mountains? The camping is pretty good, but the hiking that's nearby makes it even better. We actually did a whole series on our favorite hikes in the Smokies. Although we were camping when it was extremely cold, so August would be much better. 💗
What site number? You had a great view!!
We stayed at site 43 which was so nice! Right on the water without any kind of barrier. We parked just diagonally so we could have the view out of the sliding door for sunset. So nice! Thanks for watching Southern Girl! ❤️❤️❤️
