I started following you because I also enjoy planning events and you give me inspiration. the last party I planned and hosted was a month ago and I was the only one in charge of food and drinks. I felt like half of the time at the party I was busiy heating up the food, making sure it doesn't burn, and serving everything including individual drinks- so I didn't have time to be fully present in the moment and just enjoy the party. Even though everyone complimented me on the hosting, saying it was a stunning event, I thought "was it worth it?" So my next event is going to be a chill brunch, where each guest is bringing something to eat or drink, and hopefully I'll feel less stressed about hosting and more like a guest myself.
i’m attempting my first dinner party/picnic when it gets a bit cooler here in alabama. a bit tricky to do it in my one bedroom apartment but a picnic will still be fun!

When I had a smaller place, every closet/cabinet was a potential home for storage (or even under my bed). If it was a more niche theme I might not use again, I would either resell or donate if I didn't have room
