I have 53 years experience as an aircraft structural repair and fabrication mechanic/technician. I always find these videos interesting and instructional. I do pattern making, form making, fabrication, pressing, shrinking, stretching, and heat treating. I also have Swiss made Eckold metal forming equipment at my disposal, which gives excellent results. I'll be retiring on the 31st of Dec. 31, 2023. I started working on aircraft when this video was made. 🙂
Do have prepared one of the first C36 for engine exchange during my army service in Lodrino, canton Tessin. The work involved removing of the Hispano-Suiza piston engine, which was produced by Saurer, Arbon. Wonder, how many C36 piston planes are still operating.

I look forward to it, and I'm not selling my aircraft tools 😀
Super Film, Super gemacht. wow. On the level of the Tigris Helveticus film. Juerg Branger (?1930-1981) as Chief engineer
Tigris Helveticus is miles above this film. Recheck your comment.

Reminds me of an FW190-D9, the long Nose Dora.
IL-2 + Pe-3
Thanks for this!
My pleasure!
Beginning reminds me of a Monty Python WWII sketch with the music
It's the French music La Victoire est à Nous (Victory is ours) for some reason that was famously used in the 1970s version of Waterloo.
Superbe vidéo. Merci pour le partage.
excellent footage with psychodelic sounds, great !
The extra long nose was needed because the turboprop was much lighter than the old 2ww engine😅

Schade, dass die Politiker den P-16 abgemurkst haben. Das beste Erdkampfflugzeug seiner Zeit made in Switzerland.
We HAVE to get these birds in War Thunder and World of Warplanes for starters.
Recuerdo los cañones Oerlikon en Valencia y cerca de Zaragoza... Escondidos en el monte... Antiaéreos letales...
Top 👍👍👍👍👋👋👋🇨🇭👍🇵🇹
@18:13 Optische Täuschung. Die kolbenmaschine sieht wie einem V10 aus....
Sweeds a little late 😊

Do they have reasons to hurry up?
The flying anteater
1:12 Darth Vader telling the civilians how it's done.. 🙂
A typical Swiss army officer of that area! The tone and posture still makes me sick!
