On paper, England looked so good and one of the favorite for WC. But it's strange to see them almost getting knocked out of competition so early. They did a blunder by dropping experience Jason Roy from the team. Roy - Bairstow partnership was feature during 2019 WC. Malan at 3 , Root at 4 , Stokes 5 and buttler at six would have been top batting combination. Livingstone and Sam Curran are t20 specialist, they will struggle at odi and especially in India.
Don't think so about sam as he is a test player also and good finisher
Livingston is played for a Klassen Or Maxwell sort of role.

I am not surprised about England, their player is not very well equipped on slow/turning tracks, if you see very few of their players is the mainstay of their respective franchises in IPL. They are good in their own backyard and that's it.
I think it's the way that the England players have been playing. They've kicked all the good works in batting and adopted some t20 style shot selection, look at them, always waiting for a big hit.
We had a similar team called West Indies ( forgot all their master class batting skills, and started to hit every ball ). Cricket today is not actual cricket, this is baseball.

No talking about how opposition are able to stop them? key areas where they should be bowling to choke them? Contribution of pitch in England loosing so many matches? Unable to make massive total despite having home conditions in Bengaluru with small ground and flat deck ? Choking against a minnow like Afghanistan on a slightly slow pitch?
