Then I went online to attend CZS worship Friday (Newport News VA) twice 2x slept Friday and hungry for the words of God and read Matthew 22 ‘You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.’ and read on with Psalm 104-105. My prayer for the Asbury Revival is that it will not be another revival movement that is all about worship music, feelings and emotions. I pray that this will be a World Wide Transformation that will lead to souls being saved, blind eyes open, the deaf hearing, the mute speaking, people being delivered from demonic spirits, the lame walking, and yes the dead being raised, just like JESUS did. The bible says to be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. That is the only way the body of Christ can see change in themselves and the world. It's time to change from once in a while revivals to everyday Transformations through the Holy Spirit and The Word Of God!

It is the answer to many, many prayers, not a sovereign move. Also, in October 9, 2021, this was prophesied over a young man from Asbury, Don Coleman, also a student from a High School in Georgia. Both are pertinent.
Not to get too theological, but how is God answering prayer not sovereign? He often does not answer prayer. His sovereign choice either way, and thankfully He did this time.
God says we have not if we ask not. And to keep asking, seeking and knocking. I think this was God’s counter attack against the Grammy 2023 ordeal. God works behind the scenes. God is always ahead of us. God goes before us and is our rear Guard. A person praying years for revival - God lays that on their heart to be praying. I read a comment where one person said that they had been praying 50 years for revival. I read other comments of people who had been praying for revival. God lays that on their hearts. God says to ask for the nations. God knows the future and knew what would be happening in 2023. God works behind the scenes and brings things together in His timing. While we all want this move to continue, we must recognize these are students, still in this school who have courses to finish. This is also a small university, not equipped to handle the throngs of people showing up. The Salvation Army volunteered heaters for those waiting in the cold Outside for hours. I imagine the budget is being stretched to near breaking so I pray people will be generous with donations. This is special, A refreshing, a renewing, a reviving needed so much, a return to basic worship is much needed, churches have copied the entertainment industry, it sickens me. We must return to our first love. Each person who came here had the ability to carry this back home with them, I pray they do just that and expect to see many spring up from this all across our nation and the world. Thank you my Lord Jesus! A seed must fall into the ground and die in order to produce multiplied fruit.
I will pray for God to keep exposing the clowns inside Asbury! And for God putting more sense in people to stay away from that spiritual mess, and choose the truth and sound biblical doctrine!
Agree, God moving like this should humble Pastors & self professed leaders in the body of Christ. I would go as far to say there needs to be public repentance from all pulpits regarding teaching church hierarchy. The word of God sais we are to submit one to another in love then to submit the rest of the body not to an apppiointed individual who has authority over us. In the body there is only one leader which is Christ as the head. All beleivers are equals in the body with different functions as Paul described. Honor needs to be given more to the weaker parts & not so much to the parts that all ready have it. This was Paul's wisdom so love would flow evenly amongst the body. Love & concern can't flow evenly when we operate under the error of hierarchy in the church. It creates divisions & stops Christians from taking personal responsibility for their faith. The damage this error has caused in the church is so big I would be here all day writing a list. Pray for Global repentance & humility 🙏
what about when Paul said to Timothy to give double honor to elders who "rule well". There are levels of administrative authority in the church, we are just called to manage it all with humility.
@@ivanluther3823 Yes double honor & respect to older Beleivers. No different to respecting your parents & grandparents. The word elder is in the Greek is different to the word Pastor. Pastor is a spirtual gift, elder just means older in the faith.
@@ivanluther3823 Different levels of authority in the spirit yes, depending on the grace given by Jesus himself. But if we are talking about authority over eachother there is none. We are all equals with only Christ as the head. We are called to submit to one another in love & regard others more highly then ourselves. If beleivers practice this there will be order & no need to have an individual person in charge. In the early church the power to correct other lied within the body itself as layed out in scripture. Go to your brother & sort out the issue, if that doesn't work bring a few other beleivers & if you start still can't sort out the issue get the rest of the beleivers involved to have a majortity vote on the issue. Everything was dealt with as a group not with a particular person having authority over others. That includes the Apostle's themselves.
Revival happens when you pray and God Himself shows up to refresh and renew your spirit, to forgive your sins and empower you to live for Him. It happens when we humble ourselves before God and confess we cannot save ourselves, we need HIM. Lots of churches have this worship, but lack the humility required to allow them to seek God.
This is my concern with this…. if the gospel is not preached how can you be sure that the “Jesus” being worshipped is not one of the numerous false Christs that Jesus warned us about?
The people of Turkey spent 2,000-years with their noses stuck in a useless book reading about an imaginary "God" and what a mythical guy "Jesus" said. They did not have time to teach themselves about earthquake resistant infrastructure and home building. That was not in the Bible. Their "God" steered them wrong eh! As a result in their recent earthquake 34,000 people died. The people of New Zealand did not waste their time on religious rubbish. They taught themselves about how to build earthquake resistant infrastructure and homes. So in their recent earthquake 5- people died. So much for standing for Jesus eh!

I just so NOT understand WHY they are stopping this?..Can you stop a move of God? .And Why.. Do they (leaders,. teachers ?.of this University) know an "Act of God" such as this cannot be stopped, I imagine you will need to answer to God
They are not stopping it, they are protecting it from outsiders looking to push their way in and hijack it. Everyone can have this in their own churches if they pray like these kids pray.

They announced they are shutting down the Revival at Asbury college from 1am -12pm. They are trying to figure out how to handle this. I feel it's a huge mistake. Pray for Asbury

Nobody can not shut down God because nobody has the power to do so and God started the revival and he will keep it going as long as he wants. About right now, I see the devil in the phone booth dialing (911) because God is on the move like wildfire, hallelujah!!!!

I guess the musicians and those that oversee it need a break. They are learning on the run.
While we all want this move to continue, we must recognize these are students, still in this school who have courses to finish. This is also a small university, not equipped to handle the throngs of people showing up. The Salvation Army volunteered heaters for those waiting in the cold
Outside for hours. I imagine the budget is being stretched to near breaking so I pray people will be generous with donations. This is special,
A refreshing, a renewing, a reviving needed so much, a return to basic worship is much needed, churches have copied the entertainment industry, it sickens me. We must return to our first love. Each person who came here had the ability to carry this back home with them, I pray they do just that and expect to see many spring up from this all across our nation and the world. Thank you my Lord Jesus! A seed must fall into the ground and die in order to produce multiplied fruit.
I'm sure if you were part of the teams that God has called to steward this, you would understand.
I will pray for God to keep exposing the clowns inside Asbury! And for God putting more sense in people to stay away from that spiritual mess, and choose the truth and sound biblical doctrine!

Agree, God moving like this should humble Pastors & self professed leaders in the body of Christ. I would go as far to say there needs to be public repentance from all pulpits regarding teaching church hierarchy. The word of God sais we are to submit one to another in love then to submit the rest of the body not to an apppiointed individual who has authority over us. In the body there is only one leader which is Christ as the head. All beleivers are equals in the body with different functions as Paul described. Honor needs to be given more to the weaker parts & not so much to the parts that all ready have it. This was Paul's wisdom so love would flow evenly amongst the body. Love & concern can't flow evenly when we operate under the error of hierarchy in the church. It creates divisions & stops Christians from taking personal responsibility for their faith. The damage this error has caused in the church is so big I would be here all day writing a list. Pray for Global repentance & humility 🙏
what about when Paul said to Timothy to give double honor to elders who "rule well". There are levels of administrative authority in the church, we are just called to manage it all with humility.
@@ivanluther3823 Yes double honor & respect to older Beleivers. No different to respecting your parents & grandparents. The word elder is in the Greek is different to the word Pastor. Pastor is a spirtual gift, elder just means older in the faith.
@@ivanluther3823 Different levels of authority in the spirit yes, depending on the grace given by Jesus himself. But if we are talking about authority over eachother there is none. We are all equals with only Christ as the head. We are called to submit to one another in love & regard others more highly then ourselves. If beleivers practice this there will be order & no need to have an individual person in charge. In the early church the power to correct other lied within the body itself as layed out in scripture. Go to your brother & sort out the issue, if that doesn't work bring a few other beleivers & if you start still can't sort out the issue get the rest of the beleivers involved to have a majortity vote on the issue. Everything was dealt with as a group not with a particular person having authority over others. That includes the Apostle's themselves.
The actual answer? Repentance to sin, not indulgence of it. Sin is Torahlessness. 1 John 3:4
What is revival? Is worship and praise revival?
Revival happens when you pray and God Himself shows up to refresh and renew your spirit, to forgive your sins and empower you to live for Him. It happens when we humble ourselves before God and confess we cannot save ourselves, we need HIM.
Lots of churches have this worship, but lack the humility required to allow them to seek God.
Asbury is nondenominational.
This is my concern with this….
if the gospel is not preached how can you be sure that the “Jesus” being worshipped is not one of the numerous false Christs that Jesus warned us about?
Revival is about humble repentance before the Lord. Read Acts 3:19.
The people of Turkey spent 2,000-years with their noses stuck in a useless book reading about an imaginary "God" and what a mythical guy "Jesus" said.
They did not have time to teach themselves about earthquake resistant infrastructure and home building. That was not in the Bible.
