Lol for anyone who’s interested, here’s the short version of how we ended up dating:
We met beginning of freshman year of college in a martial arts club. We were friends and rave buddies for a while, but sometime during our sophomore year we caught feels. During one of the raves, we noticed our group of 10 were all couples except for us so he asked whether I wanted to dance and pretend to be his gf for the night. I tried to play it cool with a nonchalant shrug but inside I was ecstatic yet confused 😂 We danced and held hands the rest of the night and I’m pretty sure my friends knew something was up.
Day after he invited me over to watch scary movies. This wasn’t unusual for us but it was the first time he exclusively asked me and not our other friends...y’all, we all know what happens when you watch scary movies with your crush 😩🥺
Day after that, we went to another festival just by ourselves. We bought our tix before any of this happened so it was honestly slightly awkward that day because we weren’t sure what we were. Were we just friends still? Did the last two nights even happen? Turned out alright tho cause that night he asked me out and we’ve been together ever since!
