Another great video. I really enjoy your videos. I’m even more excited now I’ve seen a glimpse of scooby. Heading over to that channel right now. Keep up the good work. Enjoy your scooby.
Brilliant review 👍 Hear loads about Synergy and it seems to do well! Been thinking about a longer term coating for my partners car and this certainly seems worth looking at
Thanks mate. That was exactly my thoughts for this car, its my mums and i wanted to get something on it that would have as little fuss as possible when it came to maintaining.
Great review. I'd agree with the swirling filling abilities. Longevity is a solid 12 months if not more. Great product, easy to apply, and like you I don't use the trigger spray. UK made and great price as well, what's not to like.
Really great information. May well try this or something similarly easy to apply on the wife's car later in the year, maybe add some of my GT sigma to boost gloss etc next year when i won't be able to resist topping it with something. Best wishes.
To be honest mate I’ve quite limited experience with fusso but yeah I have herd it’s a good wax. You know me, I enjoy using a wax but for someone who just wants to protect their paint, something like this is probably the product.
Another excellent review, Dave, have used a couple of Infinity Wax's products and they seem to offer decent performance at a reasonable price. I've just applied KKD SiSTAL onto my car - very easy to apply, not fussy at all about the weather and 15ml did the whole car (3 series estate). Also supposed to last a year. Having used KKD Revolve on a different car's wheels a couple of years ago (v impressive) I have high hopes, we shall see...
Thanks Steve, ive herd the KKD 1 year coating is good, ive not had a chance to use it though, would be interested to see how the coating performs for you. like you said if it does as well as revolve it should last no problem.
The car still looks good after the year mate. The only issue I foresee is your Brother in Law not being too happy in that if all his customers watch this and do it themselves you take away his livelihood and any profit margin in sales of Gyeon products and coatings. Not for me coatings going forward as I have enough wax to coat the whole field of Formula 1 for the next ten years but it means I have plenty of options to play with for a few years. I had to buy another car just to use up some wax. I have never used any Infinity wax products but I did contact them and I have an open Invitation from them to see round their operation so I might take up that option soon.
Thanks John, I was using the car tonight and under the street lights it was looking fantastic. Haha that’s very true, unfortunately my videos don’t get the amount of views to even get close to being able to affect him 🤣🤣. You know me mate I’m a fan of a wax, I love the process but this type of product is spot on for someone who just wants to protect their paint and only worry about doing a quick wash once a month
@@DavidMcBay Good point well made. I forget that not everybody has the time or inclination to spend as much time as I do waxing and maintaining our cars.
Hi mate, with this one I just used a normal prewash either citrus or snowfoam then ph neutral shampoo. If you want you can top up with a ceramic detail spray once a month but for the purpose of testing this product it didn’t bother. Every 4 months or so it’s good to hit it with a fallout remover or waterspot remover to unclog the coating.
@@DavidMcBay when people top it up almost every wash I do almost think what was the point in the ceramic your putting protection on continually anyhow. Great test you've done.
Yeah there really is no need for it atol other than an attempt at prolonging the life of a ceramic. It was good to get a full years worth of testing on this product and see if it lived up to its durability claims
Thanks Richard, it’s from B&M, I think it was around £9 and it lasted well, unfortunately I had left it with water in it one night and it froze up and cracked but I’ll be on the look out for a replacement when they get their spring gardening stuff in.
Did you use a quick ceramic detailing spray sealant as a drying aid or say infinity wax quick detailer spray to top up the original 1yr coating I've just used infinity wax synergy V2 lite and 4mths into it the coating is performing as day 1 with a snow foam and shampoo every 2/3 wee and using infinity wax quick detailing spray as a drying agent every other wash
Brilliant, just in time! I got this product as a gift the other day, so your video came at an excellent time for me. Just going to wait for slightly better weather. Can I ask if you're aware as to whether a tar and glue remover would strip the coating back, sorry if that's a stupid question?
Honestly Lee I’m not quite sure about that, I did notice a few tar spots so might pop out tomorrow and give it a try. It’s just about getting into the weather to get it used mate
Product looks decent for the price, I’m a fan of Gyeon cancoat evo which is similar product but price is like £37 but works great, Maybe you could try out on your car the new Diamond ProTech - Diamond Body 36 ceramic coating which is 3 year coating with actual claims of scratch resistance, obviously not deep scratches but swirls etc, would be good if someone could test out these claims as I’m skeptical especially as the price is similar to most 3 year coatings
I have some original geyon can coat but your right £37 is expensive. I’d love to test out some of these scratch resistant or self healing coatings but again there not cheap lol
@@DavidMcBay The new diamond one is only £60-70 so for a so called scratch resistant coating that’s cheap, the self healing ones are only for certified installers and way too expensive, i would rather get my car wrapped in PPF
I agree it is expensive. It’s a 200ml bottle with the gyeon so you get twice the amount but I feel like I’m never going to finish it before it goes out of date.I’ve applied it to three cars so far in a year and haven’t made a dent. Wish they did a 100ml bottle for like £22
@@98JamesNixon I agree I wish they had 100ml product, i got the Evo one and no chance of me using all of it before it goes bad,I did mention it on Esoteric channel and he said it’s targeted for the trade but that’s nonsense as they got one for pros who only certified detailers can buy, it wouldn’t hurt if they made a 100 ml for £20 as it’s really good product, what’s great about it that it can be used on glass so maybe if you use it all over the car including wheels then you could use it all
Good stuff as always. As usual I’m only part way through the video so apologies if you do mention it. But in the prep can a sealant be used under product for extra gloss or best on raw paint?
Thanks mate. The coating has to bond directly to the paint, or else it wont work very well, what you can do though, a month or so down the line to get some additional gloss, is put a compatible sealant on top of the coating, i believe synergy boost and synergy QD work well as coating toppers.
I’ve herd good things about synergy 2 mate, seen a few of your posts about it aswell. I’ve not had the chance to give it a try yet, mibby could stick that on the VW next
I couldn't find out the link for your full video on declogging a ceramic coating
Quality mate... Another honest review 😉

Another honest review and plenty of ambient distractions lol nothing like cars & aeroplanes to ruin a good shot 🤣🤣

Not bad at all for easy to use spray sealant, Actually very good for spray sealant.
Thank you
Great stuff mate. That's how you do a product review! Dedication! Impressive results for sure
Thanks mate, this one was certainly a long process 🤣

Thanks Tim, it’s well worth a try, I’ve been really impressed with it over the year
Seems a decent product, I’m just getting into trying more of the infinity range so I’ll add this to my list
It’s certainly one to try mate, it’s a good option to have if a customer wants a coating, easier faster and cheaper than a wax lol
0:05 yes fusso 😅
Sorry I’ll take my soft99 ambassador hat off and say that was impressive to be fair. And good to see a proper long term durability test 👍🏼

Give it a layer of Infinity Wax Vitality and it it will boost the coating’s performance for another +6 months.
Thats a great shout, had completely forgot about vitality
Hi David can I ask what pump sprayer you used during your initial decontamination. TIE. Great video I have bought a bottle. Cheers.
