I wanted a ZR-76 when I was kid to replace my KT-76. Always thought the demos sounded really good. Unfortunately Ensoniq got bought by Creative and disappeared long before I could afford one.
'Jump' on a trumpet sound? lol... It has the best bag pipe sound in any rompler ever. It also has the Perfect piano card installed and for it's time was one of the best piano sounds out there. :)
@@nilfelix6614 At what time marker? The first Ensoniq demo I heard is at the 7:06 mark. That one is called Rockin' (where it goes Rockin' in stereo)..if that's the one you want to know. I have a fully expanded MR61 and the factory demos should all be the same.
Have you ever had to deal with the ZR's common sound/parameter select dial problem that would make it hard to select sounds? Caused by corrosion inside the potentiometer knob. I can only reliably change sounds through MIDI.
If you can get to the pot, squirt some Deoxit in it, and turn the knobs around slowly. Be sure to surround the pot with paper towels, the deoxit spray comes out very fast, and goes everywhere. You only need a really short spray, it has a fine lubricant in it, great for noisy pots on guitars too.
Ensoniq who was bought out by Creative who made Sound Blaster an early popular sound card, they merged E-MU, famous for the Emulator Sample & Ensoniq. I think they all went out of business in the 90's. Well not Creative, they just ran 2 legendary companies into the ground.
Has anyone experienced the following with your ZR76. I'll turn it on play it for a couple of minutes then get the following prompt: Sorry! An unexpected event 41 occurred I'll turn it off and back on and it'll do the same thing.

Sounds like the emu sound set compared to the higher quality warmer sounds of the Mr! Maybe someone knows better? MR to me sounds way better

Lee Vang you might try opening up the back and making sure any expansion cards are firmly mounted.
