or maybe its a closeup mic?
Studios that release live perfomance music without crowds tend to use the sound recorded with the mics used by the instrumentalists and the vocalists!
For example, shows like The Voice release and sell music performed on the show by the contestants, which are not pre-recorded. They use this method to sell live music without crowd noises.

何に書いてあったか忘れたけど、Reolの本性はライヴですってほんまやなってつくづく思う
自分アルバム買ったら最初にトラック順に流して、あとは気になった曲を鬼リピするタイプなんだけど、初めてライヴ映像見た時こんな神曲あった！？ってびっくりしてアルバム漁って聴いたら、やっぱりCD音源にはそんなに惹かれなくて、それにまた驚かされた
小綺麗にまとまっているというか、ちゃんとReolクォリティで良曲ではあるんだけど、CDとライヴじゃ熱量が桁違いすぎて同じ曲に聴こえなかった
今まで生歌って苦手(音が外れたり高音出ないの誤魔化したりとかが嫌)で、ライヴ感なんて要らないからCD通りの安定感で歌ってほしいって思ってた人間だから、CD音源を上回るライヴに感動しかない
トータル演出はもちろんだけど、単純に歌が良い

私がReolさんを知ったのは、LINE MUSICでたまたま、本当にたまたまクリックしてこの平面鏡という曲を聴いてからでした。
動画配信をしていたことも知らなかったし、顔もなにもわからない状態で、音楽性と歌声だけでこんなに魅了されたアーティストははじめてです。
7~8月の振替公演が私にとって初参加ライブになります。
Reolさんの生歌を聴くのが、今から本当に楽しみです。
