Why can't they play most of these songs on the radio I think its sad a lot of people don't know these songs Edit: i didnt think this would even be noticed by 5 people O.O im glad people agree with me edit #2: the fact i made this comment over a year ago and people are still commenting.... different radio stations play different music not all choose to play most of these songs where i live they never play these songs unless it gets requested and even then they would rather play newer songs. Im glad you all listen to these songs i was just pointing out that in my area barely anyone remembers or know these songs.

I first found this like 4 years ago (couple months after it was published). From then I kept coming back to this so many times whenever I just wanted to listen to some good nostalgic music. Eventually I grew out of my nightcore phase so I completely forgot about this. About almost 3 years later my new friend and I (new school so new people) recently decide to go back to 2018-2020 and rediscover everything. We somehow ended up going to gacha and then nightcore. I completely forgot all about this video but it just popped up on my recommended and I almost started crying coz I have so many memories from the time I first found this so remembering this reminded of everything and it's just ✨waves of nostalgia ✨ (sorry if I was ranting lol I tend to randomly rant a lot)
I feel you. I want to cry and laugh at the same time. This decade of music has been the soundtrack to my life. Although I'm only 17, I feel so old and like my childhood is gone. Now I know the feeling behind the phrase, "those were the good days".

I really dislike modern pop songs, like 2012 was when I first was like, “oh, this is pop music I don’t like.” Then it slowly digressed for me to now I don’t hear any modern pop and like it. But I liked this. This was a nice mashup and a good time capsule of the decade.
I cried while singing the lyrics to every song that played. The music these days aint got nun on the songs that we grew up two. Just think when we get older our kids will talk about our music just like how we talk about the music our parents used to listen to..Think of how when we get older out kids will say omg this song is soooo old and its not even good how did u listen to this? Just think about that...think of how when we get older the kids then will have no clue what the nae nae was😞 It seems like just yesterday Gundam style was the big thing and everyone was doing the dance now its all about the booty popin and being proud to be called a bitch😞 god i feel old thinkin about what it will be like...😞
The scariest thing is, we all grew up in the golden age of this music. Early 2000s. In a matter of a few years, all the kids stopped listening to this music. All it took was a few years. (Edit): I suppose its like how our parents started off with Nokia bricks and now they have Iphone 10s all in their lifetime, in our lifetime we're probably gonna go through 10 different generations of music whilst we watch our generation fade off out of existence.
Man, that's so true.Most of the songs today are just about taking drugs, drinking alcohol, killing or hurting people or just fucking around (at least that's how it seems to me here in Germany) That's really no fun to listen to. and when I think about that my brothers (11 years old) andtheir friends hear such music with loud boxes on the street I'm (16 years old) really worried about the future. that's really scary. What should it look like with the children in 15 years? I do not really want to know that .
I know! I literally was talking to my dad about that, how these golden songs are gonna be left behind. I have always been so musically inclined and I want to share this music with the next generation but it will be hard because there are so many more songs that are new. These will always be MY childhood though, even if the next gen doesn't get these amazing pieces =)

About almost 3 years later my new friend and I (new school so new people) recently decide to go back to 2018-2020 and rediscover everything. We somehow ended up going to gacha and then nightcore. I completely forgot all about this video but it just popped up on my recommended and I almost started crying coz I have so many memories from the time I first found this so remembering this reminded of everything and it's just ✨waves of nostalgia ✨

Just think when we get older our kids will talk about our music just like how we talk about the music our parents used to listen to..Think of how when we get older out kids will say omg this song is soooo old and its not even good how did u listen to this? The scariest thing is, we all grew up in the golden age of this music. Early 2000s. In a matter of a few years, all the kids stopped listening to this music. All it took was a few years.

Man, that's so true.Most of the songs today are just about taking drugs, drinking alcohol, killing or hurting people or just fucking around (at least that's how it seems to me here in Germany) That's really no fun to listen to. and when I think about that my brothers (11 years old) andtheir friends hear such music with loud boxes on the street I'm (16 years old) really worried about the future. that's really scary. What should it look like with the children in 15 years? I do not really want to know that .
I know! I literally was talking to my dad about that, how these golden songs are gonna be left behind. I have always been so musically inclined and I want to share this music with the next generation but it will be hard because there are so many more songs that are new. These will always be MY childhood though, even if the next gen doesn't get these amazing pieces =)
