I have a 65. Yours looks great! I love in Pasadena Ca. Drive all year round! If I lived in England, my parents are English I would do what you are doing. MGBs deserve no less! Cheers!!
@@adamuttley5579 thanks for the comment! Ha yeah the thought of the salt getting to her fills me with dread so I’m happy to take an OTT approach. Enjoy the 65 😃
Thank you 🙂 Ahh you know I thought there should be more in the front as they have to cope with the weight of the engine etc. Never thought about drive. Thanks for your comment! Looks like I have a new job on the list for tomorrow 😀
@@CharltonsClassics 😄, I have a Blaze 1973 roadster which I bought in 1988. Its still keeps me busy 😆 The nice thing was like you I took it out the other day to get some fuel and 3 people gave it some admiring comments..🙂
@@deltafoxtrot2 I love that colour! Ha yeah there's always something to do but since my Grandad moved to electronic ignition I haven't suffered a breakdown (touches wood) so all of the tasks are preventative maintenance at my leisure which I quite enjoy. And yes they were so popular that many people have either owned one or know someone who has so it's a great conversation starter and you meet some fantastic people in the most unusual circumstances. Thanks for the comments 🙂
That is one pampered B! Interested to see your thermo fan installation.Mine is bracketed on radiator - I like yours better.I went through a number of fans before coming to Spal fan.Its so quiet I can't hear it & the airflow is huge.
@@SimonHoning Ha thanks! She's my pride and joy so I do look after her 🙂. The thermo fan is a Kenlowe unit and the particular fan i have went out of production many years ago. There are alternatives, and like yours the newer fans seem to be installed right up against the radiator. I guess this will help save some space in the engine bay if nothing else. I also found that the alloy radiator does a great job in itself at limiting overheating...
I believe that for the rubber bumpers they moved to a side mounted fill plug and overflow on the gearbox which you have to be under the car to access. While the dipstick can be a bit fiddly to access on the earlier models, I still think it’s better than the later design 🤔
The car originally had the ROstyle wheels, but these are the minilite replicas: www.mgocspares.co.uk/parts/1_3_355_1884_4093/alloy-wheels?srsltid=AfmBOopuNEd1DtdD6BE9CkIOrhOmvZuNQKFBDgnKUGkeBHYDqyroe-EX
Classic car ..
Your car is absolutely In awesome condition ❤
Thank you! I do try and keep her in good shape 🙂.
@@CharltonsClassics She is in excellent shape, nearly as good as you 😀
Great video!

Great car im in the middle of a frame off restoration on my 74B so i can relate to missing ones car.
Thanks buddy. Ahh very nice. How long left until she’s back on the road?
@@CharltonsClassics She will be back this coming summer. Our mg club in St louis has its big show in september thats my hard deadline.
Outstanding video and presentation.
@@americanpatriot2422 Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 😃
Really nice B 👍, I think you got mixed up with the tyre pressures. The MGB has the higher pressure in the rear as it's rear wheel drive👍
Thank you 🙂

I agree with the lady, gorgeous car. Every time I see you playing with the MG makes me wish I still had my MX5 and that I should get another.
Thank you 🙂. Well, you only live once right...😀
3.17 looks alright to me 😅
Wow, do all MGB have the gear box oil dipstick?

Are they stock wheels
