His name was Leonard Siffleet.
Whilst not relevant to this particular story it still makes a point of the type of treatment dished out to the prisoners.

A wonderful documentary of veterans who were there. The blurring of historical films, though, is a crime of it's own, and should be prohibited. Life sometimes includes horrible death, and in historical context, that tragedy is worth displaying, if only to balance the pro-war propaganda films abundant at that time.
I couldn't agree more, especially as some of the films have all ready been seen multiple times all around the world, so blurring them is pointless.
Big Tech largely sucks for this reason: they censor nearly all of the stuff we SHOULD be seeing, while amplifying the garbage we SHOULDNT!

Damn the blurring
War started on 1 Sept 1939, not 22 June 1941 or 7 Dec 1941!. The Germans invaded western and central Poland, the Soviet Russians invaded eastern Poland where the largest Jewish communities lived. The Germans established ghettos in their occupation zone. The Russians started mass deportations of "enemies of the working class" to Siberia plus executions eg of POWs. Once the Germans invaded the Russian occupation zone, then ghettos and extermination started there as well.
Yeah…peeps forget those details. Folks don’t believe me when I inform them how the Soviets also took part in Poland with the Nazis…
Hey they were restricted by the German ban on weapons and ammunition. They could have inflicted more damage and had a bigger figjting force if they had access to weapons and ammunition..
The Polish underground was incredible also and saved many lives...

He gave a local talk about his life experiences, which was extremely moving! He is gone now, just like my grandparents are, and oh how I wish I had asked more questions!! 😭💙🙏🏽

There is not always music while people are speaking. I’m watching a section right now with no background music, only a man’s voice. So if you can’t be bothered, or if the sound of gunfire bothers you, then I assume you are either traumatized by war, or just don’t care too much about the truth.

Courageous honorable people..why so l8ng for this 8nformation kept hidden for decades and decades
I guess it depends who you knew. It was not hidden in my family, and in fact 30 years ago when I was in high school we watched films about this as well as the liberation of the concentration camps. One of my history teachers was himself a liberator of camps in the US Army, and he shared his personal experiences with us. I agree that oh young people should have a class in Holocaust history and learn about it at school! But even in the US, each state gets to choose exactly what will be in their curriculum, and most states do not choose to educate about the holocaust. This is why so many young people don’t know the truth, and many are being fooled by propaganda and lies. If you have young people in your family, please be sure they know the true history of World War II, & learn what made this generation great!

The Jewish partisans were lucky enough to have been able to fight the German Nazis in battle and at least if killed died with honour.
Sadly, this was not the case for most Jews in Germany and the occupied countries at the time who perished as numbers just to become statistics.

This was good, except you shouldn't refer to people who believe in G-d and Christ as gentiles, because i have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside me guiding me home, the only Door to the Father. The holocaust is in the Bible, Daniel, Matthew, Revelation, and other parts of the Bible predict it perfectly, even predicting the Jews coming home to Israel, and many having their eye's and ears opened to knowing that Yeshua is the Messiah, and a remnant being grafted back into the Tree of Life.
I can't imagine going through seeing whole families killed, and the brutal way they were treated. My grandpa was a medic, and helped liberate a concentration camp after the war, and he could not believe that any human would treat another human so horrifically. You need to educate yourself. The British mandate area was divided among Jews and Arabic speaking Muslims. The Israelis wanted peace and justice to prevail, so they were willing to give up more than half of their historic homeland, so those Muslims would also have a place to live in peace! All of the Jews agreed, and many of the Muslims agreed. Those who were willing to live at peace went across the Jordan River to what was then called Transjordan, and is now the Kingdom of Jordan. All Muslims who wanted to live in an area with a Muslim government were welcomed to go there.
But those who did not want to live in peace refused to go. Many of them stayed behind to work against that original division of land, and began acting as terrorists against the Jewish people and Israel. Some Muslims decided to live in Israel and become citizens there. Today, repeated surveys show that the majority of Muslims within Israel are very glad to live in a democracy, and even if offered help to move to any surrounding Muslim country, they have no wish to do so. They appreciate all the freedoms they have, as well as the rights they have in Israel as citizens. some of their young people, more and more each year actually, are joining the IDF when they are not required to at all. There they work alongside Arabic Christians, Jewish and Druze young people. One of the best examples of the success of these programs is Major Ella of the IDF. She is an observant Muslim woman who is a very successful IDF major!
But those who were not willing to accept that the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the children of king David and Solomon have any right to live in their historic biblical homeland, those people stayed and became terrorists, including Palestinian terrorists such as Hamas. They say they will only be satisfied if all Jews are killed. They are intent on continuing Hitler’s plan, and working against the Bible. They are not interested in any kind of peace plan, Unless it means getting rid of every Jew! In fact Israel has been ready to make peace with them several times, but Palestinians always reject piece and a two state solution. They are not interested in peace. Go back and read the history of the British mandate, and how it ended.

The movement grew until they were the victors of the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia under Josip Broz ‘Tito.’
