Perhaps the biggest shame is how much focus our lack of skill took away from the music, voice actors, and apparently even fan animators’ creative work... For everyone who's saying the original sucks, may I remind you that it was their FIRST time doing animation (not to be confused with claymation musicals) and it was a different style of animation than people thought it would be. Jesus, some people actually don’t understand how hard it is to animation and how long it takes? The random encounters aren’t very used to animation, but I’m saying their animation was great! When people say “‘Oh, so much better than the original” They tried their best and tried to make us happy with something new! Actually their animation was great, really smooth and flowing. It was the art that was the problem. Here the art is leagues better, although the original still has better animation considering this isn't proper animating.
I like how the only bosses that don't really mean to kill Cuphead look so unsure about what the rest of the bosses are doing (those "friendly" bosses are "Grim Matchstick" the dragon and "Ollie Bulb" the onion).
Honestly, I always felt like Grim wasn’t being scary to kill you, he just had a good time being scary. He enjoys scaring people like how some people get enjoyment from pulling pranks.

I love the song by random encounters. I honestly didn't like the animation of the original, but I think it was amazing to attempt. Animation is a difficult thing to do and they made a risky choice. This video is an improvement from the original video. I am NOT saying that the original Cuphead Musical was terrible, what I am saying is that the original did fine pacing and the voice acting and song was really great, but the animation was the weakest part. This video remade it in a more natural way. Great job, both of you!

They both worked hard on the videos animating/animatronic isn't as easy as you think and for the original being their first animation it's really good and for you people who hate on it well... can you do better? Did you animate that good your first time? Yeah I didn't think so theirs no need to show hate it only makes people feel bad. I didn't write this for any haters to feel offended in anyway just to try to prove a point that maybe just try to look at the positive instead of the negative thank you if you read this.
Dang, this is amazing! The characters are perfectly on-model, and if/when it’s actually animated, I’m sure it would look way better then it already does. And yes, I did read your comment. I’m not gonna lie, the original animation was bad (At least in my opinion), but I don’t despise them for it or anything, I agree they were trying something new, and that’s very brave of them. Honestly, I think they should’ve gotten someone like you to animate it in the first place. It would’ve allowed them to focus more on the actual musical aspect, possibly making the video turn out better in both animation AND music.

I hate how people are saying bad things about the original...I guess it does look different...but it’s like your saying that his drawing are bad...and your being very mean about it...think about how he would feel and think about the good things in it like the song! Or maybe the motions of the character is funny I think the flowers dance is hilarious me and my friend do it all the time....and the devils arms at the end are funny too...I don’t see it as a bad musical cause of the animation and I guess you guys have ur opinions...but like someone told me...if you have something bad to say...don’t say it...unless it is completely needed and all the hate the original got was not needed

This is awesome but I don't think that's a reason for the others to bash the original. They tried, like TRIED and if you ain't stupid then you'll know that it's their first time and for a first timer, it's actually good like seriously, a lot of you(incliding me) would do worse than that! At least appreciate their efforts and why not focus on the music instead of the flaws of the animation?

This is excellent work! I love how you can actually see the people who voiced each character in how they’re drawn. I don’t know how you did that without changing the designs at all. This is amazing. Great job!
This video is an improvement from the original video. I am NOT saying that the original Cuphead Musical was terrible, what I am saying is that the original did fine pacing and the voice acting and song was really great, but the animation was the weakest part. This video remade it in a more natural way. Great job, both of you!

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!!!!! This render is absolutely 100% totally AWESOME! Finally I can watch a less rigid version of the Cuphead Musical (I’m not saying RE’s animation is bad it just seems a bit crumpled) 😓 this animatic is lovely to watch, drawn & beautifully coloured, as an artist myself I’d give this a 10/10 can’t wait to see it animated.

They both worked hard on the videos animating/animatronic isn't as easy as you think and for the original being their first animation it's really good and for you people who hate on it well... can you do better? Dang, this is amazing! The characters are perfectly on-model, and if/when it’s actually animated, I’m sure it would look way better then it already does.
And yes, I did read your comment. I’m not gonna lie, the original animation was bad (At least in my opinion), but I don’t despise them for it or anything, I agree they were trying something new, and that’s very brave of them. Honestly, I think they should’ve gotten someone like you to animate it in the first place. It would’ve allowed them to focus more on the actual musical aspect, possibly making the video turn out better in both animation AND music.
I love the way you drew the devil! I feel like his expression really matches his tone.
