midas GTS NX - Pile Raft Foundation Analysis in 2D and 3D

The purpose of the webinar is to evaluate the horizontal displacement of bridge abutment foundation and pile stability. The evaluation of the soil-structure behavior is done by using pile elements, not by simple beam elements. Pile elements are like embedded beam elements which don't require node sharing, so it can be easily used in 3D modeling. Finally we will review a pile raft foundation on our 2D software midas SoilWorks. The objective is to familiarize engineers with special pile, pile interface and pile tip elements for improved foundation analysis.
