I love Sharon’s lower register, it’s so deep, full and warm. For me, this sets her apart from most singers, alongside with her tone and ability to show the emotions without a lot of vocal gymnastics. This lets you just immerse yourself in the music and the story, instead of being in awe of the singer’s voice and skill. I think old school classic OPM was more like this. Both are good but I kinda miss this vibe.
