Great advice Dan! I fell into the trap. We were together for 12 yrs and had a son together. I had to have surgery and lost my job. It took 1 month then boom! She blocked me and now she won't even let me talk to our son. Trying to deal with it best I can. As always stay cool,kind and generous.

It is possible to find love in Thailand with a good women but unfortunately you are more likely to get seriously ripped off than find a good one. Dan gives out great advice to help prevent people from being ripped off which everyone should listen to. There's a good Thai community here in waterford and in most towns around the country as far as i know. I know a fella that's married to a thai girl and they're living in the countryside. You were expecting too much of yourself if you think that all the stress you faced over this time could be hidden or masked. If you have kids with your Thai wife and you want to let something for your kids and your wife when you die i think it's ok, as a father who want to protect his family, to buy land and a house as long as you don't invest more than 30% of your saving. You can always sign a contract to get the usufruct of the land and the house for 50 years. But anyway in case of divorce you will probably want to move in a different place... We never really own a land, we are just passing on it, we will die and the land will still be there for million of years.

You need to remake yourself in your own country first. Some countries offer pardons after a few years ( 7 here) and or take up a trade. Happy to hear your situation is getting better. In regards to the topic, i can't say i share your sympathy for those who get taken advantage of at this point. Those who have money and end up losing it to thai women who take advantage of them are just as likely to lose it on an equally or less equal situation because of their lack of common sense. It takes minimal effort to understand working girls in thailand intend on extracting money first and foremost, however i would say for thai women who have respectable jobs (relatively speaking) and come from a stable family environment it is far less common. You were expecting too much of yourself if you think that all the stress you faced over this time could be hidden or masked. You really do a great service here and the only thing I would add is that it isn't just THAI women who are this way. In places like the USA and Britain, women who make their own money expect men to pay for everything as well. Your channel actually helped me realize what 65 years of life could not.....that I don't live in a vacuum and that many men have lived the same frustrations.

Good advice on this channel. But I think you also have to see it from the girls point of view. She has to spend large amounts of time pretending to like a guy she doesn't like. She also has to go to bed with him and probably finds him repulsive. She's not gonna do these things for a seven eleven salary. If you have kids with your Thai wife and you want to let something for your kids and your wife when you die i think it's ok, as a father who want to protect his family, to buy land and a house as long as you don't invest more than 30% of your saving. You can always sign a contract to get the usufruct of the land and the house for 50 years. But anyway in case of divorce you will probably want to move in a different place... We never really own a land, we are just passing on it, we will die and the land will still be there for million of years.

You need to remake yourself in your own country first. Some countries offer pardons after a few years ( 7 here) and or take up a trade. Once you have your certificate be strait forward to your employer and tell him about your record. Somebody will give you a break you’ll see. Escaping is never a solution.

I’ve never paid my wife of almost 15 years a salary, never paid her family a dime or built any houses! She’s college educated and is about as normal a girl as you’d ever meet. She lived in the US for over 10 years with me and adapted quite well and ran her own retail business for years as she does here now. I do agree you need to stay away from bar girls and dating apps. But you have never in your experience dated or been with an educated woman from a good family. I have and can tell you I can’t relate to most of what you say. In regards to the topic, i can't say i share your sympathy for those who get taken advantage of at this point. Those who have money and end up losing it to thai women who take advantage of them are just as likely to lose it on an equally or less equal situation because of their lack of common sense. It takes minimal effort to understand working girls in thailand intend on extracting money first and foremost, however i would say for thai women who have respectable jobs (relatively speaking) and come from a stable family environment it is far less common. Working girls who are sincere in finding love are most of the time over the hill and not good looking enough to be considered as any better then most other countries in the world.
