The basic method is alternate picking, which alternates down and up.
I always put in blank picking at the rests on the score.

at 0:33, when it says 7 9 9 7, I think the second nine is supposed to be on the D string but you wrote it as G. I think you played it as D too. Am I wrong?

Thank you for your detailed observation.
It is true that the second 9 is the D string on the score, but it is the G string that is being held down.
Personally, I like the G string, so I played it.
The original song is on the D string, so I wrote it that way on the score.

How do you get this type of sound on guitar I’ve been looking into it somewhat. Would I need a tube screamer or is there a specific thing I should have. I was already thinking of getting a super chorus and super overdrive pedal but idk

I've been using the old Boss chorus and distortion, and MXR's DynaComp, but recently I've been recommending the Boss ME-80 as well. By adjusting similar preset tones to your liking, you can create very similar You can make sounds. I think so.
Older MXR models have better sound
