Then tries to one-up her by going to a convenience store and asking for a special on chicken, calling it all the advertisement words on the poster like it's a title, only to get laughed at by the cashier like it's a joke. She runs out crying again, lol.
The best part of this whole scene is that the girl is breathing heavy cuz she knows what's happening, but she's working, she has to do these things without offending or further embarrassing the customer

This is literally my first time going into a cafe for the first time. I only know expresso in the menu and ordered it. And it was so freaking bitter. Nichijou was truly ahead of its time.

I work at a cafe. When customers are unsure and there isn't a line, I'll work through the options with them, the most important being sweet or not sweet. "Espresso" as a menu item is pure coffee and will be small and bitter. Mochas are larger and include milk and chocolate, safe bet.
I always get anxious about ordering at cafe's despite the fact that 99% of the workers are probably willing to be helpful and wouldn't be bothered at all if I asked 😅 Though I eventually learned about what you said - if I want something sweet I'll probably just take some sort of mocha, if I wanna shake myself awake it's time for an espresso
