We need John Wick with this gameplay that is perhaps even expanded more with slow motion etc. Ubisoft pretty much proved with Legion that they know how to make epic takedown animations. Only thing is that I wish John Wick is linear game - and not open world game with Ubisoft formula. Maybe later in future it can be some open world game but for first John Wick game I wish it had Hitman-like levels where you still had freedom but it's NOT open world.

If you have the Bloodlines DLC, Aidan returns and he has Hitman-like executions as well as his classic baton stealth take-downs. If you have the Season Pass both him and Wrench can be used in the main campaign.

For future Watch Dog games, I hope they change how melee works. No more random attacks or random takedowns. I like choosing which moves I do. One moment, you're doing a fast takedown, and the next, you're taking so long that another guy sees you. Also, one melee attack button should mean tap/hold/delay inputs for more moves if they wanted to make it feel more immersive, imo. Maybe not a "fight game," but still.

Yeah I hate that too. Some of them don’t even have vest, so it makes no sense for them to react as if they got shot by a small BB gun blank. Makes you feel like bullets have no weight to them.

I love how this game feels to play, the gunplay is tight and feels fun, but my god is this game lacking in anything fun to do, they should have made you able to make your allies from scratch, the "play as anybody" feature, while a cool idea at first, almost always results in you needing to play as some hideous mashup character with a dumb voice or hairstyle because the couple of cool people you found have crappy stats.
YES! Why do I have to pick from a bunch of lame ass vanilla characters to be my first ones, only to later get some with 4+ abilities? Making your first character and having a leveling path for which "class" you go would have been dope and added replayability. Maybe not be strict with the class path, but it's definitely there with common abilities (Spies = cars with weapons; hitmen = gunkata; Anarchists = paintball guns and pain grenades; brawlers = instant KO; etc.)

I also wish every character had more takedown animations, you're lucky if your character has 2. Even the gun takedown animations (as seen on this video) while cool and not as limited, there's still like 5 and I wish there were more. It made hitman characters or anybody with gun kata feel somewhat underwhelming. Even the weird ball Marcus has felt like it had so much more or it was so flashy that it didn't feel repetitive.
You can really see the effect John wick has had on video games, especially games like this. The way the take downs are animated with the guns are word for word John wick

It kinda is. The melee combat feels random, like the opponent will either _just_ block, _just_ get hit, or _just_ dodge. It gets to a point that you're better off just doing dodge-counters. Also, I hate it when games try to have an "immersive" melee system, but combat is mainly with one button with no input types. It's just 2 punches and a random 3rd hit. Like MGS with Snake doing punch/punch/kick, but it might be the front kick, spin kick, or low kick randomly. I honestly have no idea how he's doing this, and I got 2 hitmen.

I don't wanna defend cd projekt red as they had let me down even though I didn't fall for all the hype but Cyberpunk isn't a bad game. Just incredibly buggy. There are things I wish they added like being able to switch from first person to 3rd person because character creation is pointless if you can't see it and better physics. Can't say anything about watch dogs legion for I haven't played it yet.

Agree 100%. I really object to their explanation that it was made in 1st person because of some story elements. They did an awsome job with the story elements in the Witcher 3 where you played in 3rd person and it cut into various cutscenes etc. It's a damn shame because yes, Cyberpunk would have much much better with atleast an option for 3rd person.
