I think some people who are at risk of drug use don’t go out and actively educate themselves about the dangers of addiction before using. well they're not dangerous, they can put you in some crazy experiences like infinite amount of deaths, but you'll be fine since the effect is over and they don't make you agressive so i think they're overall less dangerous than alcohol or stimulants
Just because something grows everywhere doesn’t make it safe. Opium poppies are natural and can grow in your backyard if you plant them (if you live in the proper climate). Poison ivy grows all over the place but I wouldn’t eat it. Poisonous mushrooms & berries... etc. “Natural” things can be deadly. (Not saying shrooms are deadly, just saying that plenty of “natural” plants and fungi can kill you.).

I think possession should be decriminalized. Why lock someone up for months who’s addicted to drugs? They’re just gonna get out and start using again. We need a system where people are forced to go into rehab or something.

I know this is 3 years late but the law is supposed to protect people from harm and possession of illegal drugs cause harms to you and others. There's a thing called "culture"
People have undoubtedly died to marijuana, though not the substances involved themselves. Hundreds/thousands have died due to marijuana smuggling, dealing etc and I'm sure some people have mad bad decisions because they were too high.
However this is no reason at all to have weed be illegal. People also die from caffeine, water, tree climbing, heartbreak etc. We neet to get rid of the stigma around the word "drugs" where it somehow makes sense to say lsd and weed are bad but alcohol and caffeine are good. Then we can also get rid of this bullshit pharmacological determinism where anything bad that is slightly related to a drug is then completely attributed to this drug. You know the typical "boy dies of xtc" when in reality they were drunk, cold and already ill? Oh yeah everything was xtc's fault.
But on the other hand, drugs can still be dangerous and we need to educate people on how to properly handle them

Yes. Health-wise, LSD-25 is as harmless as marijuana (Of course psychologically it can precipitate latent problems). Its prohibition and arrests of prominent figures like William Leonard Pickard (Who made the vast majority of the world's LSD) directly lead to more harm than good. Flakka is just a media-nickname for a-PVP, which is literally just your average cathinone. Its really not that different from any other stimulant. You can easily use this drug sparingly and in low doses without any noticeable mental or physical damage so I’m not sure where you’re getting your information. I’ve seen way more lives ruined from adderall (d-amphetamine) than any other stimulant and we’re prescribing that shit like candy to any 3rd grader who has attention issues.

why did you expect otherwise? carfentanyl is „okay“ if you’re dosing right but that’s exactly what’s the problem. it’s so easy to overdose it. but still, alcohol does so much bad stuff not just for the body (it’s a literal desinfectant that you’re drinking) but also for your social environment. in my experience alcohol makes me so much more aggressive and dumb than any opioids i ever had (tho i’ve never touched anything close to heroine or fentanyl).

Been through family members suffering for months or years before, I gotta say it's much better than death in one day. At least you're somehow mentally prepared for it, I think death all of the sudden is like a car crash where you have to relieve yourself from the shock.
