9:54 Okay, can I just,,, go off for a second? This? This right here? This is precious, and I love it. These books, especially the older ones, can have especially moving, immersive storylines. There are a few hiccups, yes (at one point, I believe there were six(?) writers working together to create this series), and sometimes things don't work out as readers would hope (especially in the newer series(es???), from what I've read). But they're not just *kids'* books. They have a story, they have worldbuilding, they have amazing and terrible creatures. They have a community that has created so, so many big artists on the Internet (whilst not being big in any sense, it inspired myself to continue drawing). We see people of all ages enjoy this entire world. Through the battles, the deaths, the births, and the betrayals; through the darkest of times, to the happiest of moments; from standing up for their beliefs, to making changes when needed. These books are so much more than "battle cats". So much more than talking animals. They have a society. They have religion(s). They have diversity. Hell, even though it's not a prominent or focused-on thing, they have love in all forms (such as Tall/Jake, Barley/Raven). They have hardcore religious characters, and characters struggling to do their job while not believing in any religion. And the /memes/. The jokes and fanfiction and art and AUs and headcannons this has spawned! It's,,, this whole community. Yes, we've had some bad apples. We've had a few screw-ups in our midst. But we're over-all a very welcoming, fascinating community. And I love it, so, so much. It has lead me to meet some of my closest online friends. It has allowed me to watch and interact with an artist I very much look up to. It's allowed me to meet so many amazing people. Create so many amazing characters. Expand how I write. From RPing on WCRPG (now FeralFront) to creating my own little headcannons, this series has helped me become who I am today. And those online friends I said earlier? We met through an RP. We all hit it off, preferring to talk to each other, as opposed to in-character. I am about two years older than them. And in the years since we met, I have had the honor of watching them grow and expand their art, into ways that I can't even fathom. I have watched them become people I am proud to say I know. I just,,,, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing of a thing this is. And how sweet this image is. For some people, acknowledging that they enjoy this series is a major thing. Because, if you go to a library or bookstore (preferably not at this moment, because COVID), go to the kids' section. In there, nestled with "Captain Underpants", "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", and all manner of others, you'll find Warriors. For a long time, I myself was mocked because of my reading them. But. These aren't kiddy books. They're not full of sunshine and rainbows. There is deep-rooted prejudice, discrimination, loyalty, and heartbreak. Oh, and a cat gets murdered. In the very first book. Also, to reiterate: I have not actually read most of the newer series (I read some of the series with Alder, up until the famous death of a prominent tom). Most of what I'm referencing are from the first series, onto about New Prophecy/Power of Three. Also-also, for anyone confused on the names Kristyanna (the commentor in the video) chose: Firestar is said to be a "bright flame-colored tom with emerald green eyes", though one of the authors always viewed him as a ginger tabby. He is undeniably one of the BIGGEST characters throughout the series (even if you're not that fond of him), as he became a leader, and was leader throughout the first series (I refuse to call it "The Prophecies Begin" -- I'm a teeny bit biased towards the old art, as well (even though the re-made art is beautiful; it just doesn't feel the same)), and reigned until the last book in the "Omen of the Stars", spanning over four series and who-knows-how-many years. He changed a lot of things within the Clans, and just,,, is an iconic character. Graystripe was Fire's best friend, and -while he may not seem as big of a character as Firestar- is another iconic cat. I could go into detail about him, but I think that would be best read on your own (the reason I detailed Firestar so much is because that's kind of.... Well known in the books, and something you'll catch onto quickly). Graystripe is described as a dark gray tom with yellow eyes and a stripe of darker gray fur running down his back. A running joke with him is that he is immortal. Alright. TED talk over. I wanted to put some little comment about, "HEY, IT'S WARRIOR CATS :D", but then it snowballed into this. I loved this whole video, but this specific part just made me tear up. Also. Just some small, tiny things: •Warriors is not something I would necessarily recommend for very small children. While not /entirely/ graphic, it does have some slightly-older themes to it. A cat gets gutted in the first series. While it's not explicit, if you have basic imagination and full-understanding of the words, it can be kind of... Gruesome. I have to emphasize that it's not a detailed, graphic scene. It's harsh, no doubt, but compared to something with an adult rating, it's tame-ish. I don't really have too much of an issue with furries, but I hate how people will sometimes look down their nose. Feral cats are not anthropomorphic animals, or people cosplaying as such. Are some fans furries? Of course! You're going to find that in essentially every fandom! Drawing, writing, or reading animal stories doesn't make someone a furry, though. I've had THAT thrown at me before, and it's annoying. (Again! I do NOT hate furries. The normal ones are fine (like some of my friends). But the toxicity and nature of a decent amount of the fandom is off-putting, and I don't want that to be a reason to look over this amazing series. ••••I highly suggest this series! And I HIGHLY recommend reading the first series (starting with Into the Wild), as opposed to the "chronological first" series, Dawn of the Clans (I, personally, never could get into it -- and if this was the first series you would read, it would make everything confusing). Seriously, though. Give it a shot, if you're willing! •••••Also, the "mangas" aren't mangas, theyre just cartoon books. Made in America (or the UK??). Read like a normal comic book. I know the firefighter at 13:14! He lives just up my street actually!! Back in 2013 there was a large horrible flood in a neighbouring town from us, and he was one of the people helping people out of the floor! He’s a great guy!
My mom is a retired teacher and every once in a while she still gets surprises from her former students. Shes received emails from students she had in her grade 7 class that are now fully grown and have their own children. One year at Christmas a bunch of her former students showed up at our house to sing Christmas carols for her. She was a really fantastic teacher and I can can tell you that doing little things like saying thank you every once in a while really gives teachers a huge boost. She loved being a teacher and students like the one in the vid would make her smile brighter than the sun. Appreciate your teachers guys! They do more for you than you know!
9:37 succulents don't require much effort. Just some basic rules. If you buy them, instantly replant them. They are usually planted in some cocofibre soil that stores way too much moisture. For the start use some succulent soil mixed with sand (basic play sand for kids) at a 70/30 ratio. Use a pot with holes at the bottom, place this pot on a plate/saucer, not in a pot without holes (overwatering might then happen). Succulents need high sunlight, so chose a window at south front of your house with the highest sun exposure. They have to stay there at this window. And then water them sparsely. I water mine about every 3-5 weeks with little water. The water may come out of the pot but the pot may not stand inside the water for hours. So if the soil doesn't suck up all the water, just ditch the water after like half an hour and water less the next time. Never water if the soil is still wet to the touch. And never pour water on the leaves or inside the heart of the plants (where the leaves grow out of, the plant might rot then). Depending on the temperature inside the room or outside, if it's summer or winter, you might water every 3 weeks or every 4, or 5. On plants like Aloe you can see the leaves getting less thick and this is the sign for you to water the plants again. Other plants like Echeveria will drop dried leaves and these leaves will be gone for good then. I own, breed and care for succulents for many years now, having several hundred plants, many of them being many years old. I pollinate them myself and collect their seeds to regrow them from seeds. Some of them take 8+ years to get their first bloom and be able to produce further seeds. Owning other plants too (like begonia, phalaenopsis, ferns and cacti), I have to say that the succulents are (along the cacti) by far the easiest to care for. They basically don't need any "green thumb" and don't require any major care. They don't need fertilizing (you can fertilize them still, if you like. But chose a succulent only fertilizer), they don't need cutting them back (with some you can, if you want a clone of your plant), they don't need repotting every year (I repot mine about every four-ish years) and the main mistake you can make, is watering them *too much* . And that's basically it.

I am just now going into high school this year, this meaning I have been in middle school the last 3 years. Everyday, after every class I always made it my job to say "Have a good day" even if I was in a bad mood myself. I plan to do this until my schooling is over. And even after that I will say it to cashiers or waiters. At the end of this school year all my teachers had thanked me and told me how just saying have a good day changed their day for the better. It makes you feel so much better knowing such a simple act improves someone's day so much.
10:45 as a preschool teacher for Jumpstart (where I serve underprivileged students) that email made me cry! My kiddos are not able to send emails or messages since they are so young but whenever one says ”I love you Teacher!” it brings tears to my eyes! Especially since I has a really bad experience recently working in an underprivileged middle school (I work in a variety of schools, each usually only about a month to get experience). Kids had fist fights multiple times per class, they never said thank you and treated me, other staff and students like trash but working with Jumpstart and seeing emails like this one really warms my heart!

Another great plant to have is the mother-in-laws Tongue they are one of the best air purifiers out, science we’ve had them in every room we get sick less often and it somehow helps with my serve hay fever. My point is plants are great and if you do your research there are some that require pretty much no maintenance.

•••We are NOT furries by default. I don't really have too much of an issue with furries, but I hate how people will sometimes look down their nose. Feral cats are not anthropomorphic animals, or people cosplaying as such. Are some fans furries? Of course! You're going to find that in essentially every fandom! Drawing, writing, or reading animal stories doesn't make someone a furry, though. I've had THAT thrown at me before, and it's annoying. (Again! I do NOT hate furries. The normal ones are fine (like some of my friends). But the toxicity and nature of a decent amount of the fandom is off-putting, and I don't want that to be a reason to look over this amazing series.
••••I highly suggest this series! And I HIGHLY recommend reading the first series (starting with Into the Wild), as opposed to the "chronological first" series, Dawn of the Clans (I, personally, never could get into it -- and if this was the first series you would read, it would make everything confusing). Seriously, though. Give it a shot, if you're willing!

My mom is a retired teacher and every once in a while she still gets surprises from her former students. Shes received emails from students she had in her grade 7 class that are now fully grown and have their own children. One year at Christmas a bunch of her former students showed up at our house to sing Christmas carols for her. She was a really fantastic teacher and I can can tell you that doing little things like saying thank you every once in a while really gives teachers a huge boost. She loved being a teacher and students like the one in the vid would make her smile brighter than the sun.
Appreciate your teachers guys! They do more for you than you know!

9:37 succulents don't require much effort. Just some basic rules.
If you buy them, instantly replant them. They are usually planted in some cocofibre soil that stores way too much moisture. For the start use some succulent soil mixed with sand (basic play sand for kids) at a 70/30 ratio. Use a pot with holes at the bottom, place this pot on a plate/saucer, not in a pot without holes (overwatering might then happen).
Succulents need high sunlight, so chose a window at south front of your house with the highest sun exposure. They have to stay there at this window.
And then water them sparsely. I water mine about every 3-5 weeks with little water. The water may come out of the pot but the pot may not stand inside the water for hours. So if the soil doesn't suck up all the water, just ditch the water after like half an hour and water less the next time. Never water if the soil is still wet to the touch. And never pour water on the leaves or inside the heart of the plants (where the leaves grow out of, the plant might rot then). Depending on the temperature inside the room or outside, if it's summer or winter, you might water every 3 weeks or every 4, or 5.
On plants like Aloe you can see the leaves getting less thick and this is the sign for you to water the plants again. Other plants like Echeveria will drop dried leaves and these leaves will be gone for good then.
I own, breed and care for succulents for many years now, having several hundred plants, many of them being many years old. I pollinate them myself and collect their seeds to regrow them from seeds. Some of them take 8+ years to get their first bloom and be able to produce further seeds.
Owning other plants too (like begonia, phalaenopsis, ferns and cacti), I have to say that the succulents are (along the cacti) by far the easiest to care for. They basically don't need any "green thumb" and don't require any major care. They don't need fertilizing (you can fertilize them still, if you like. But chose a succulent only fertilizer), they don't need cutting them back (with some you can, if you want a clone of your plant), they don't need repotting every year (I repot mine about every four-ish years) and the main mistake you can make, is watering them *too much* . And that's basically it.

I am just now going into high school this year, this meaning I have been in middle school the last 3 years. Everyday, after every class I always made it my job to say "Have a good day" even if I was in a bad mood myself. I plan to do this until my schooling is over. And even after that I will say it to cashiers or waiters. At the end of this school year all my teachers had thanked me and told me how just saying have a good day changed their day for the better. It makes you feel so much better knowing such a simple act improves someone's day so much.

10:45 as a preschool teacher for Jumpstart (where I serve underprivileged students) that email made me cry! My kiddos are not able to send emails or messages since they are so young but whenever one says ”I love you Teacher!” it brings tears to my eyes! Especially since I has a really bad experience recently working in an underprivileged middle school (I work in a variety of schools, each usually only about a month to get experience). Kids had fist fights multiple times per class, they never said thank you and treated me, other staff and students like trash but working with Jumpstart and seeing emails like this one really warms my heart!

The Amazon review of Warriors by a senior citizen genuinely did make me smile. I am 24 and still love that series but I stopped reading it after I was mocked in high school for reading a "children's book about cats".

Another great plant to have is the mother-in-laws Tongue they are one of the best air purifiers out, science we’ve had them in every room we get sick less often and it somehow helps with my serve hay fever. My point is plants are great and if you do your research there are some that require pretty much no maintenance.
