Great video. Can you tell me please - how do I get the Bot to return all my Table data in the PDF report? (I have a table with 30 questions/answers, but your demo Bot only shows the latest, updated entry in the PDF report, not all 30 entries). Thank you.

Perfect! I just need this tutorial. I have 2 questions relating to it:
1. How do we connect google drive if drive locates files using unique url per document instead of file name?
2. Is there a way to generate pdf of the list (in your example the Employee Data view) instead of the individual profile?

I'm tried to make multiple sheets with header in a single PDF. But Appsheet only generate PDF document 1st page only with header and the rest without header. Can u help sir?
good👌 It is possible to create a PDF file that contains multiple pages. For example, if an invoice has 5 items, I need to create 1 PDF with each of those individual items, and for the PDF to have the 5 individual pages to be able to print all the labels for each item. that bill?

Thanks for this video! I have adjusted the format in a new template, but since doing so, it seems it is no longer creating the PDF when I update information or even add a whole new entry. Any ideas why?
I am assuming something must have break in between the code which is a good sign that you're in the right direction. We just need some extra tweaking.. perhaps share with me your template so that i can have a look? some insights of your table structure would help too
@@aris_azhar Thanks for the response. I believe my issue was with my formatting. I was able to get it figured out. I am, however, wondering if you know of a way to apply different color coding to responses in the PDF based on responses. An example would be for some Yes or No question prompts that are answered.

Hi tq for tutorial. However, this can only generate when a user updates the table. What if, I want to generate a report on demand? Meaning, a button where it just prints the whole info on the table and create a pdf. Tq kindly.
You can do similar by just creating an action that generates a PDF on demand..i will do a video on this this week just for you.
s it possibe to use a Power point ouExcell document as Template ? Or Only Word ?

Thank you! anyways, for my case is by default since my account is created via microsoft. But if you're using google or others instead, simply set the file path in your automation to the OneDrive path.
HELLO Mr Aris. Thank you for the tutorial. I have two tables with parent and child configuration, so when try to print a pdf when adding data in the parent table, the child table does not appear in the pdf. Could please you explain to me why? thank you

Hello, I would like to ask a question. When generating a PDF and now we go back and edit the AppSheet data and generate it again, it is still the old data. What should I do?
Hello there! if i were to be in that situation, basically two things to check,
1) The trigger event for the both. Whether it is based on data change or schedule. If data change, what is the condition that is required for the trigger eg: Timestamp=NOW() etc
2) To check whether the PDF is overwriting the old file or generating a new one. To check this, ensure "Disable timestamp" is selected.

@@yavuzusullu Oppsss sorry for my late response, was kindda away the other week. Anyways, for your case.. the PDF file generated will automatically be saved into your drive regardless. But to save it to your phone, use the "FILE" url type and set the directory of the file path into the column so that you can open the PDF file from the app. From there, open the PDF file and save it to your device.
Alternatively, you can use an email action (Create an action that will email to you or any email column) and use automation that will trigger when to initiate the action.
Another option that i would take is using the telegram bot since they can store the file with no issues. Create a group and set the automation to send the pdf file there.

How to add pdf link if using Google Drive
Great tutorial. I did get all previous stepst done. PDF is created and sits in Google drive. That part works well, but when I try to open PDF from app I get
400. That’s an error.
The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.
I double checked the expression and I changed File URL and [Name]. Everything looks fine. No errors. When I remove .pdf" from formula. Opens nicely Google drive folder that contains PDF, but with the end .pdf" it shows error.

While opening file I always get the message “bad request” what am I doing wrong?
My assumption for now would be invalid URL..can you confirm whether the PDF file is being generated in any folder that you've set?
