It's interesting cause some people have a theory that this is the reason why cartman hates Wendy so much. He got his heart broken and now he acts mean to spite her.
That theory makes SO much sense because the first ever time where cartman was mean to her was literally ONE EPISODE, and I repeat, O N E E P I S O D E after this one, not one season, not half a season, ONE episode
Wow, I forgot how charming Cartman was in this episode without even trying. Man, can you imagine how different things would be if Wendy actually became Eric's chick and they wound up being a good influence on each other? They'd be like Rodney Dangerfield and Sally Kellerman in Back to School.
@@strangerinastrangeland3613I don’t know… The horrendously evil things Cartman has done makes me think otherwise. Especially when you don’t “respect his authori-ty”. Also at the end of the episode about photoshopping (with Kanye & Kim Hobbit-shian) Wendy ended up caving-in despite her being solely against it. I have a feeling Eric would just wear her down or push her to the extreme. He does that to everyone lol
5:34 is actually true. During the Vietnam War in 1963, Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk, performed an act of self-immolation in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam. He set himself on fire at a busy intersection to protest against the oppressive policies of the South Vietnamese government led by President Ngo Dinh Diem and the persecution of Buddhists. This act garnered international attention and became a symbol of the Vietnamese people's suffering and resistance during the war.

My favorite part about this episode is when I saw it for the first time at around 10-11 (I know, I shouldn't have been watching it) I actually didn't understand that the flag was racist. I didn't even really know what racism was, or what the whole undertone of the episode was with the KKK and all that, and when the kids asked what was the issue with the flag if not the violence, I genuinely had the same question, then Chef's answer surprised me just as much. Old clisché saying, but it show it's true: Kids are not racist, people teach them to be racists.
cartmans captain candycorn bit is one of my favorite clips from the show ever, just the way he says in the deep voice "oh yeah? how would you like i should kick you in the nuts"
Sadly the The return of Chef really has a sad background, it was a revenge since they tought Isaac (chef’s VA) left the show because of the scientologie episode but after his death, news came out that while he was unresponsive due to medical problem, the church quitted in his regard. So knowing that the creators dont really like this one, RIP to Isaac Hayes, i know ill always remember him from Chef ✌️

No. They don't see race a big deal. That's why they don't see the problem. It's both good and bad, bad for negligence of racism, good for not act definitely because of race
Did you not see the point where the episode showed how utterly frustratingly stupid that line of thinking is? Everyone thinks "free speech" is the answer to everything. It's not. Free speech without sense, moderation, or self-responsibility is still just selfish and harmful. Ho can people watch this episode and NOT understand that was the underlying point when the final flag turned out even worse.
It’s not important that the boys aren’t educated on racism. It’s more important that children don’t see race. It’s taught and will never end until we decide to stop talking about it.
