I broke my leg last June, I shit myself when it happened. I actually climbed into the shower, stood, washed, then went to the ER for exrays. DR. Came in and said, "it's broken with a spiral break." It healed 3 1/2 months later. No surgery was required at all. I GOT LUCKY. LOL LOL.

he definately felt it later!, adrenaline does that to you, severely fractured my collarbone 20 years ago snowboarding, i snowboarded the rest of the day, thinking it was just a bad sprain, didnt think it fractured/broke when i couldnt lift myself up, felt it at the hospital, during X rays, they had to get me a gourney, because i passed out in the X Ray room, and threw up all over the technician, also had a moderate concussion, as i landed on my head and shoulder, than this summer, wrapped myself around a tree mountain biking, lucky didnt break a single bone, but the pain kicked in when they had me on a backboard, and C spine collar, spent 16 hours in ICU that day, as my breathing was very very bad, blood pressure was super low, oxygen lvl is normal between 97-100, mine was 63% for 24 hours, spent 16 hours in ICU and a month and a half in a hospital bed under oxygen

Breaking one's Clavicle (Collar Bone) is supposedly one of if not the most painful bone to break. His impact shouldn't have been nearly enough for even a hairline stress fracture unless he has really weak bones. Either way, best of wishes to him on that recovery.
I know that if someone is self-aware enough (effectively able to communicate with their body and it to them) then it is extremely easy to know when something is truly wrong, like that of a broken bone, torn/ruptured ligaments, etc. I myself am one of those folks, and knew I tore a ligament in my ankle last year. No medical expertise, just knew. MRI had my ATF at 50+% torn. So I get the sequence of people not believing you if you're that self-aware until the medical pros actually confirm it. So I won't suggest he doesn't know for sure himself.
I am someone whose soft tissues (ligaments, tendons, cartilage and muscles) are easy to injure, while my bones are stronger than a mountain practically. I've had many accidents and incidents that have required xrays with the radiologists and doctors sure I fracture a bone, but then come out after reviewing them stating how genuinely shocked they are that I somehow have no signs of damage to the bones. Usually just hematomas (bone contusions).
Also, Corey is just disgustingly gnarly at shredding it and sending it. It's just plain insane! And I love it.
I fell from 10 feet going north of 25 mph, directly on my shoulder and head and didn't break my collarbone. Got a solid concussion though.
