Bad mix, vocals buried, maybe its just the recording. It is the problem with 80 percent of the music at youtube. A bands hard work is destroyed by bad sound enginering. So sad.
Its the sound engineer problem for the gig. Always problems with the volume of vocals at the Gables every year. We can only record what we hear. The music sounds great for me.
@@chrishorner2952 Thanks for replying. I like to sing, and words are everything to me, a friend who plays guitar doesnt hear words that much , always focused on the guitar. We all seem to like it differnt some way. Just saying someone wrote some words there, and I say thanks for writing, even though it didnt make it through.
Isn't the "mix" one of the drawbacks of recording on an iPhone? It seems to have it's own noise suppression algorithm in that if the band gets louder, it automatically seems to cut the sound level to avoid distortion. good idea, but can have weird consequences. Only way to get a really solid mix is to record the whole band (multiple channels) and then post-edit/mix it to make sense. Hard to do unless you've got a sound guy with all the equipment necessary. Otherwise....an iPhone held up is about as good as it gets....sadly. By the way, I really like these guys and am willing to accept whatever recordings we get.
@@WTC_2U Thanks for the feed back, I thought maybe it was the iphone. I use to use pro cameras with a wireless connection directly to the sound board, then multi camera edit in adobe for a final video. Hard for me to enjoy some other videos. Good band, like to see more of them, hopefully as time goes on we get better video. Stay Wild.
These boys had as much energy playing at the monument as they did on the gig rig. Well done guys really enjoyed your energy.
