Ten year reunion I was chatting with a guy who had been in the chess club with me when a woman brought a kid over "to meet her Daddy." I politely excused myself and made it outside before exploding with laughter.
Never going to any of mine. 4th high school and moved back to the Northeast after where I felt more at home. I don't use my real name on social media so no one from that school would be able to find me easily
Most awkward thing is that my class tried to organize a 5-year reunion. I was like “ew I don’t want to see any of you again yet.”
Been nearly 20 years, I've never heard about any class reunions
My 10 year was pretty normal, just an event room at a local restaurant, buffet, open bar for draft beer & house wine, and nothing strange, and kind of boring (though def not worth the $55 ticket cost). The 20 year, thankfully, was in 2020, so because of THAT, it was skipped entirely.
i hope one day, at some random high school reunion, someone shouts," She doesn't even go here." lol
i just hit the ten year mark for my high school graduation. havent heard anythign about a reunion but i likely would go either way as im not super social and dont have much desire to see most of theose people ever again. I might consider if my friends went but yeah.
Since I have mostly bad memories of high school, I never went to either of my reunions.
Funny thing is, I clearly stated when Facebook exploded that since it’s a thing, it would be stupid to even have one since most people hated those 4 years. I was told I should go.
Still haven’t and still won’t.
My 15 year reunion was to be held at our high school Homecoming game. One problem: it was raining 🌧, with the chance of ⛈ storms. So 10-12 people who went ended up going to a local bar. Plus, I had already met most of the people I wanted to meet a week prior when the one friend got married to his college sweetheart and it was held at a large restaurant/bar/music venue that even the mayor showed up for.
Never going. Hated those 4 years and I don't keep in touch with anybody my classmates, so screw it.
Also that lady that started singing Let It Go was probably the queen bully, I’d almost guarantee it!
story 34, didnt even take me 5 seconds to think of a response (which is rare for this shit) "oh.... are you the one who he walked in on screwing his 20 year old secretary, or the one who who was caught making moves on the area manager... you did realize she is like 70 right?"
If I had stayed in my first high school i probably would’ve never went to a reunion, my second high school was much better and I more or less pulled something like in the movie The New Guy starring DJ Qualls!
Sooo glad my 10yr was at the start of COVID, no frickin way id want to actually pay to see any of those people anyway......pay to be in a room full of people who made my daily life miserable for 4 yrs, ya not even if they paid me insted 😂😂😂
My 10 year was in 2020, during covid, and the 15 is next year, and i dont think i will be there for it, maybe for the 20, if we even do one
How many people actually went to the reunion? During covid?
@@tylerbartlett28 I don't think we actually had one, I don't think there has been one at all now that I think about it
18:10 - OMFG
I don't go even though I have good memories and all. I don't want or need a pitty party. I had a form of bad luck considering my kidneys. Now on dialysis waiting for a transplant with a distinctive rare blood type and other issues. I don't want to turn a fun event somber.
I'm not the only one who had medical issues or worse in life. I don't want to go to a 30th and be a focal point or the boy that lived.
Reunions don't exist in my country
A lot of these sound quite cliche.
