Native here - you really captured the essence of late spring in Connecticut. So many people think of our state as Fairfield County preppy types but this is what the shoreline is really like. It's so nice to see this part of our beautiful state represented authentically. Luca is adorable.

that's how I felt the first time we visited on a daytrip! and when my parents were looking to move closer, we immediately suggested coastal connecticut. it reminds us so much of the German baltic sea town that we grew up in ☺
Omg ❤we lived on the yacht in Clinton for the summers and would sing sea shanties at the GRIS (griswold inn. I lived on the shoreline on a historic green. Sooo homesick 👁️💋🍦👩🎤🐶🥑☕️🎨omg we walked to the surf club. ❤thanks for this. I’m saving it.
OH MAH GAWD. I miss my Senseo coffee machine so much! I had no idea they still made them. I had to abandon mine years ago when I could no longer find the pods. It makes the best crema on top of the coffee. I am going to research immediately. Also, Luca is getting far too big too quickly.

There are some great beaches and historic places. Connecticut is most certainly family friendly.
