It took two attempts but I now have my mini compressor functional again. I made up inlet vales and used the brass anchor point to mount them. The first valve was too stiff and would not function. The second, much more flexible, seems just fine. Thank you
Thank you for doing this video, excellent description of an almost identical unit to mine. My little inflator worked really well for a long time then suddenly totally failed. I laid it aside for some time but recently decided to try to investigate. The motor and gearing work fine when connected to 12v, the cylinder and piston look fine but upon checking the head I knew something was missing, the inlet was open and I could not imagine where the inlet valve was or how it was oriented. The brass pin was mysterious....until I saw your video. The entire inlet valve must have failed leaving the brass pin with maybe a small amout of the valve between the pin and the head. So....next challenge. Can I make a valve and fit it under the pin? Always learning. Thank you
Mine is substandard, it broke on the first day of operation. The white gear worn in less than a minute. The design of mine is quite simple and inferior. My tyre inflator is simply fake and worthless.

I have the same pump and the plastic gasket that sits on top of the piston fell off and i dont know what is supposed to keep it on???

I have one and the problem is the piston rubber and they don't have it for sale, disposable,👎👎🇧🇷
