I think the reason it’s so good is he didn’t get stuck on copying a specific line read or one specific emotion, like most people do when doing an impression. He got the baseline intonations and vocal patterns down, so it doesn’t just sound like someone copying, it sounds like Harrison doing an alternate line read. Basically, copy the man, not the lines.

The emperor's tomb voice actor was better but baker was fine. It would be nice to scout new talent in the industry instead of using dee Bradley Baker, Steve Blum and Troy for everything

I never tired to hear Baker in games, and i never was, when he and Nolan North were doing moultiple games in a year, in fact i miss those times, because those guys are two of the best in a business.
This game is mind blowing from its graphics right down to the story line with all the puzzles and mysteries to solve to progress further and there's just so much to do and the voice for Indiana Jones is spot on with an awesome sense of humor in combat
Sometimes I have to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the lighting, settings in the game. Sometimes I'm giddy with enjoyment at the slapstick goofy comedy in the cutscenes. I'm constantly impressed with Troy Baker's delivery. It's a key part of what makes this game such an enjoyable experience.
It's actually so good, it almost makes up for the last Indy Movie, I'm giving a pass to Crystal Skull, because it actually looks okay when I compare it to Dial of Destiny.

Yeah, I was a huge fan of Sea of Thieves making it over to PS5, and I am really happy for those with Playstations to also be able to play Indiana Jones. It's a fun game! Now if Sony could just toss us over here on Xbox a few Final Fantasy titles, we can all live happily ever after! :)
I grew up watching the original 3 on VHS as a kid. I would watch them over and over countless times. When i played the opening to the great circle, i couldn't believe how similar it was. I thought they used actual audio from the original movies or did some AI work. Learning it was an actual voice actor, I was shocked. Super impressive. Best game ive played in a long time. Game is 10/10

there is a reason Troy is in basically everything known to man, He's just so damn good at what he does

Holy shit, I’ve watched a lot of Indiana Jones (Even if it was just the 2nd movie over and over as a kid lol) and even I can tell he sounds just like him! That’s awesome!

Troy Baker is the GOAT, people forget he voiced Yuri Lowell in Tales of Vesperia and his voice is just iconic, he did really well voicing Indy in The Great Circle, I hold people like him and Steve Blum in high regards because of their vocal range
Honestly getting voice acting to be on point when the actual actor can't be used makes or breaks everything for a project or adaptation. This was 💯% Platinum performance!!! 👊🧡👍

I could study thousands of hours of a person's voice and I'll just sound like my own voice with a weird accent. Troy Baker's ability to be _everybody,_ even people who don't sound anything alike, is unmatched. I mean, this guy played The Joker and then went on to play Batman for crying out loud.
