One thing I do love about the memorial lobbies is how they often use them to represent different states in their relationships with Sensei. Tsurugi’s is perfect as an example. Her base ML has her extremely nervous going to a fancy restaurant with Sensei, she doesn’t think someone like her belongs in a place like this and she’s torn between that and her feelings for Sensei, she wants to stay with him. This culminates with her almost mentally exploding out of nerves. Cut to Summer Tsurugi who is almost completely at peace, she’s genuinely happy and speaks openly and softly. Ako’s ML has her positioned much more antagonistically with Sensei I’m an effort to best him but Dress Ako actually depends on Sensei to help her in an emergency. Hoshino’s are interesting because it’s just various stages of her opening up to Sensei and becoming increasingly more and more comfortable around him; taking him to one of her favourite places, sleeping next to him on a hammock and eventually being able to be completely open to him emotionally
Tsurugi's live2d is the reason why i got interested in playing the game in the first place, i love you can tell her character is an interesting one with only a minute screentime.
Same. Back before global, I randomly saw a video on my recommends in Korean or Japanese and it was Tsurugi’s l2d. I’ve always had a soft spot for onryo/Sadako/creepy girls so mix that with Tsurugi’s sugary personality and it’s a match made in heaven. Also fantastic voice acting by her voice actress.
Swimsuit Hina's development compared to her other 2 versions is more lowkey, but it isn't too farfetched to say Hina's the most well fleshed-out student from how much underlying work went in her l2ds.
had to re-read her relationship story and it is VERY lowkey when building up to the memorial lobby scene, tbh if the Live2d werent that good i would be alot more dissapointed but i'm really glad they fill alot for that department.
when inoe said "thankyou" that really hit my kokoro but genuinely, I love the way you make your visual analysis videos, the way you describe visuals are so encapsulating. your way of explaining the deeper meanings/symbolism to everything even just down to the colors gives your videos gives an inextricably nostalgic feeling to it. 💜
This is such a cool concept for videos, even tho i dont know much about visual theory its still extremely interesting to see how much effort was put into these things that 99% of people cant see, looking foward to more in the future! ❤

Le Aru l2d Her normal represent the facade she tries to uphold to impress sensei (kinda le cringe and le bad) Her New Year variant represent her genuine feeling as a person (i happy when aru new year smile) Her Dress variant represent le future, the struggle of being adult and sensei teach her that sometimes le world is tiring, and sometimes we just have to take le time on it
On each Aru rendition she goes from tries to hide her "not-so-idolize" version of herself to actually just go "yeah sensei, being outlaw kinda tiring lmao"

Ay, this is a really insightful video of S. Hina's memorial lobby, from the composition all the way down to the colors, it really highlights the feel or vibe of the overall L2D as well as showing in-depth insights and your interpretation of how these elements mix so well together. Besides, Blue Archive mostly revolves around the concept of coming of age, right? Anyway, you really cooked this one up really good Inoe, give yourself a pat on the back for this cinema of a video 🙏
Hina's live2d lives rent free inside my brain, aside from all the hiniature memes. Her relationship story was just peak archive, her responsibility between managing the prefect team and the pandemonium society really made me feel for her, the way she lays down and stares at you as if she wants you to stay with her before she falls asleep 😭
i never liked how forced and unnatural the utilization of live2d is in most gachas. to my surprise it amazes me how i found blue archive to be one of the best ones that manages to use them right from a composition, direction, visual and narrative standpoint as a whole to simulate a real living character.
This is one of my favorite aspect of Blue Archive. Insertion of meaningfull hint/relation in every (almost) game element For example: see Hanako & S.Hanako skill names
