Would you ever consider making a book that contains harder puzzles where the techniques required to solve are clearly identified and where dozens of puzzles are provides to build experience using each specific technique. For example, a book containing just puzzles requiring X, XY or XYZ wing techniques. There are hundreds of sudoku puzzle books on Amazon but none of them, even the ones claiming to be hard, very hard, extreme, or diabolical, provide any indication of what techniques are actually required to solve their puzzles, and most of the time the puzzles provided are really no more advanced than the Hard puzzle in the daily New York Times. I think such a book would stand out and sell! Cheers!
Back at 13:00, I have been fascinated by the symmetrical structure of puzzles(most but not 100%). However no one ever talks about it. I keep feeling that there is some magic being shown that will make the puzzle unravel within seconds. Once I discover the solution Voodoo , my next project will be cold fusion, water into gasoline....
There IS a solution but it isn't magical,.. to build a sudoku puzzle you HAVE to daisy chain the clues together, and then FIND how they thus affect the puzzle,.. each box filled makes it a new puzzle, and when doing hard puzzles, many times,.. in the opening offense, if you start at the ones,.. you'll find some of the beginning numbers elegantly hidden out in plain sight,.. others will be simply and easy to throw you off from looking deeper,... I believe sudoku should be done on paper with black ink to darken it in because you can factually testify for each find,.. if you make a mistake, and can FIND it, then the game is still on, but if you can't you lose,.. just that simple,.. you go on to another, or redo it from the start again if it piqued your interest enough,..
Hello me again, thank you for making changes to your solution process that is more similar to non-computer solution. I can tell by the way you convert little ones into big ones. Please consider making your cursor easier to see on the screen. I don’t get lost in the solution but I get lost where you’re going to go. No funny comments about tennis balls this time please
