Thanks, In 1959 i worked for 5 months as a waiter in the Valley of Rocks Hotel before going to University. Fond memories of another world, lovely place, lovely people.
Not your normal way to start a video Neil. Lynton looks lovely. Still very up and down but the view from the cliff railway 🚃 is fantastic. The town looks very disconnected from the sea ⛵.
And Somerset. We have some gorgeous countryside, coastal villages and towns. And the beautiful cities of Wells and Bath. Don’t just drive through to get elsewhere, come and see 😍
I have been to Lynton and Lynmouth. I walked all along the Valley of the rocks and saw the goats. Looking forward to seeing the video of Lynmouth which I think is a better place than Lynton. Much prettier. Thanks for the video.
5 mins drive down the road is the valley of rocks, goats and amazing sea views, you were brave goin on cliff railway if you'rell scared of heights neil, not sure i could do it
I visit here every year, camp at Caffyns farm 2 miles away and walk into Lynton and Lynmouth, also visit Woody bay and Lee bay and the valley of the rocks, it’s a beautiful stunning place!
Lovely enjoyed this so much. Due to ill health I can;t get out now. Some beautiful buildings and the quaint shops. I felt as if I was there. Thank you for taking me there.
I and my family have been to lynton and lynmouth for decade's in fact we first went there in 1977 when it was Queen Elizabeth's silver jubilee. My husband then my boyfriend stayed at a hotel in lynmouth with his school and he told me about it. We have stayed mostly in lynmouth as we find it more prettier than lynton. We took our children there and now they are grown up they still visit now and then. We have lots of lovely memories in lynmouth and will probably visit again soon.
My wife and I enjoyed Lynton and Lynmouth last September. Beautiful scenery and the people were friendly and jovial. Great memories. The view from the church on the cliff was spectacular and we were hoping you would show it. Also, there was a cute bookshop in the church near the town hall. Thanks for reminding us on the beauty of both Lynton and Lynmouth.
The beginning of the video with the drone flying over Lynton was really awesome and the walk around Lynton was even more awesome looking out at the sea and the railway was exciting to see and the main town center of course had a lot of nice looking buildings with the restaurants, pubs, stores, museums and etc of Lynton, the loud birds were very beautiful to hear and i liked seeing the town hall of Lynton and this was another exciting tour of Devon and until next time Thank You.🇬🇧🐦😎👋🇬🇧

@@GimbalWalkTV Haha just saw the message at the end of this video lol
Great filming as usual..never been there or done North Devon apart from the odd day out from Sth Devon.
Saltburn in North Yorkshire has a similar vernacular railway but with closed carriages.
