Husqvarna FE501 - Lawrence Valley Ride. May 2024

A day of mixed feelings but overall we all had a good ride. All was going well until a mate binned it whilst going quite quick. Turns out he was very lucky.
This was my first time playing in the Lawrence Valley. I intend to go back and explore as far up as possible. All our high country valleys are stunning places to ride.

Your friend was lucky being able to ride out under his own steam after the big hurt Stefan. I know the feeling. I was up river past Monument Hut in the Hopkins when I severed my rotator cuff and disconnected a bicept muscle from my right shoulder. Once I got on the bike and lifted my arm onto the throttle I was able to ride out. Could have been worse. Enjoyed you footage.

Yeah, he certainly was very lucky! It was my first ride ever where I was carrying a locator beacon! Almost had to use it!
As I was approaching him, I feared the worst.

glad your friend came out mostly ok. could not hear hardly any of your comments. audio was strange on this video. I live in South Carolina USA. I apprciate the long range views since I will most likely never see your country. thanks for posting.
