Once i was listening it last year and suddenly i thought i should make my grandfather listen to it i gave him my phone when he heard the first line video was behind his tongue he was one line above this beautiful voice after i finished with it my grandfather was happy from inside he even translated this for me after a few months covid came and he just turned 87 , he was tested positive he left this world after 27 days now today i cry every time i listen to this because there's no one left to explain it it's hard to find someone with that kind of knowledge and my grandfather was not even qualified his knowledge was at a level I can't tell in words I miss him may allah grant him jannah

My dad always said when we didn’t wake up for Fajr “humse kab pyar hai, Neend tumhe pyari hai” but he also does Urdu poetry so I always thought he made that line up. Now I know it’s from this masterpiece.

wow ~ my father loved collecting books and I clearly remember he had jawab e shikwa in book form. Now he is no more and I listen to this poetry and miss him terribly. He loved Iqbal very much. Often praised him. No doubt these words give goosebumps.

When I memorised this poem, I was just 12 years old. I don't even know persion. But when I realised the meaning of this poem, it always gives me goosebumps when accidently any line comes on my lips. (please pray for my sister, she is memorising Qur'an)
