Nice to see Meredith out and about, nice replies, thanks, oh and rain on the way out here in California, tomorrow night, on Friday the 2/21/2020, oh and do somthing special on 2222020 check that out that’s the last sequential dates that will have 😜 Wow, thanks Tara, have lots of fun, I am , BigAl California,Grace in Jesus, amen.
California is the 4th largest grower of cotton!!!! You gotta be kiddin’! Girl drive south from Los Banos all the way down to Buttonwillow....Sooooo much cotton. You gotta see them crop dusting at NIGHT!! Insane.
Fun show Tara.Thank You...your camera worked pretty awesome also I thought. Mostly crop production vs livestock like our shows back east. They are really pushin' weed here as a big $ maker ?! Think that old Holt tractor was the 1ST I ever saw? Happy Valentines......Love Kelly..!!
This is my first visit, fell in love. You have a new subscriber. I’m in south central Ks. rotation with wheat, soybeans, alfalfa, sunflower, whatever should work without irritation. Neighbors with irrigation grow corn, some tried cotton. Cattle on most acres. Thank you for your show
Tera Great shoot from the AG Expo. Yes cotton is grown in Ca. it use to be a very big crop on the west side of the valley Dos Polos , Firebaugh, some in Los Banes I had relatives that grew cotton and cantaloupes in that area. Looks like you had a great time. Always lot of new things at the expo Some come with a big price tag also .
Tara, another awesome video. I love going to expos. B T Y, the first tractor I drove was a Farmall Cub cultivating corn. I was 10 years old and got paid $2.00 per day. Great times.
I meant to say ,I love all of tractors and equipment it’s amazing how they’ve came in design and technology, u are amazing Tara, love ya, BigAl California.
Great Video, looks like you had a great time and love the awe you show when you see a new piece of equipment !!!!!!! its -4F here in Michigan today !!!!!
I moved from California earlier this year and I will definitely miss World Ag. And yes they grow cotton in California. There are some fields along route 41 near Lemoore.
You made me laugh with your comment while first walking into the "vintage tractor" show room. I knew that I was getting older when I walked into one and also said. "that tractor's not old" haha. Thank you for the tour of this huge show. We don't get shows like that here in Massachusetts or any other New England state that I know of. Very enjoyable.
Hi Tara! Amazing , fantastic. You could make 3 videos about this AG Expo. I love that kind of thing. here in Brazil we have the same AG Expo, the name is Agri Show and it takes place in May. I'm glad you guys are having fun. It's a lot of new technology, new equipment and information. The desire to buy everything. I had so much to see ... your video was very short. I liked the video anyway. great job girl!
To bad you couldn't get the Welker's to buy you ice cream. If possible you need to visit them and drive the Big Buds. you would have a blast with them. Or better yet, get leg arms pruning and tying your vines. You were great in both you video and Welker's live stream. I even got an answer to one questions I had asked you before about soil type and why you have to rip your ground. California farmer was explaining about the hard pan to leg arms that you caught most of the conversation while you had Nick's phone. Loved you mom's excitement to the camera, but your dad going to take some work.
Hi Tara, I loved your tour of the WORLD AG EXPO. Nice to see some familiar faces again (Omaha) and the joy you all share for agriculture. How did you become an extravert with your Dad seemingly so camera shy? Dean from Minnesnowta
I'm looking forward to the harvester video, I'm curious. My dad is from a small wine region in Switzerland. They harvest by hand as far as I know the steep vineyards and the ground are not suitable for harvesters.
Off subject, but I saw on the news this am that the price of wine was on the decline. They noted an overabundance of wine grapes in CA. I know nothing of wine prices as I don’t drink, but was curious on your take.
You should go and tell Wilcox Ag that they're almost in your backyard and you want your "Almost my backyard royalties" from all their sales.😆😅😂🤣 My neighbors backyard is almost in my backyard, so when I build a treehouse for my kids in his backyard by accident I told him it's almost in my backyard and now we're all good.
So basically your Dad was in a candy store and your Mom was going to visit an irrigation booth/ dairy exhibition and you were rocking the social media/equipment envy. Love your Mom, don't tell your father.
19:08 I did not know that.. Who bought who out? who owns Case IH. ( It was created in 1985 when Tenneco bought selected assets of the agricultural division from International Harvester and merged it into its J.I. Case Company. Today Case IH is owned by CNH Industrial, which in turn is financially controlled by the Italian investment company Exor, which belongs to the Agnelli family. ) (Ford and Sperry New Holland merged in 1986, and that company was acquired by Fiat in 1991. That same year, Fiat sold Hesston to AGCO. In 1999, Fiat bought Case and the new agricultural division became CNH. By 2007, the new company employed 28,000 people worldwide.)
Farming .....grow more get paid more......that's a commodity.... .In you're.Vineyard "grow quality" ......more doesn't usually mean good quality.....I worked for a multi National food company for 37 years and they sold off all commodity based products and replaced them with Value Added Products...... .Farming is in your blood lucky your father has your fresh idea's to bring value added to his world.....:-)))
